25.01.2022 School Holiday Program: Come & Try Baseball! We are hosting a series of 'Come & Try' Baseball sessions during the school holidays. Each session features hand eye coordination, teamwork and drills that compliment baseball, softball, cricket and a range of other sports. For ages 8-14, all abilities welcome. Starting Monday 18 January 2021.

23.01.2022 Due to the escalating situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we will suspend all training for both Juniors and Seniors indefinitely. We are being guided by our association and state body on these matters and take the situation very seriously. We apologise for any inconvenience and for the short notice. We hope the curve flattens very soon and we can get back to hitting curve balls. We will provide regular updates when advice has been received. Look after yourselves and stay well.

21.01.2022 As some might be aware, a few of our bears base ballers who play cricket in walla walla and even north Albury have been doing movember this year and are really doing quite well and we just want to share with everyone how it is all going. If you would like to donate to our great cause that would be awesome, just head to my Facebook page (Tom Simmons) and follow the links. Thank you all. So tonight the Bears Softball club did a wonderful thing in having a fundraiser for movembe...r. They had a great game played in great spirits and also raised a wonderful $200.15 for our great cause. Thank you so much Cassie Bruty Argus in organising this we’re very appreciative. Also thank you to the phantoms softball club for jumping on board and donating $50. Your all legends Thanks to Nate Kohlhagen Dallan McMaster and Amy McMaster and also well done to Teryane Mark Taylor for winning the gold class tickets to tick us over $2000. I will be raising the total again to a whopping $3000 dollars and with these donations from the softball and also the $200+ from the cricket club raffle we will be at or close to $2500 Thanks to every single person that has donated I will be posting more pics of the boys and their silly faces soon. 20.01.2022 Massive thanks to Lavington cricket club (under 12s today) for having us out to take over a session. (Lavington have a great future ahead with the amount of talent coming out of there.) We had a great bunch of kids trying a bit of baseball and having an absolute blast. We helped them with some throwing techniques aswell as some fielding drills that go hand in hand with cricket. We will be trying to get to as many cricket clubs in the near future to try and help build both gr...eat games. If you have or know any other kids who might be interested in our great game, please don’t hesitate to contact us as we welcome anybody even if you haven’t played before. A lot of our great cricketers in the region use baseball as an off season sport to help keep their eye in and learn new things. Big thanks to Ryan Brown and Daryl Tuffey for helping us out today. 16.01.2022 SAVE YOUR MONEY! Originally advertised with our sessions was a $20 optional shirt, cap and ball gift bag. Unfortunately due to some supply delays these won't be available on time - we will however have a RAFFLE to win a brand new helmet, bat, cap, ball and $50 Rebel Voucher - valued at over $200. The raffle will be drawn on Monday 8 Feb at the conclusion of the session. Participants will get their name in the draw every session they attend, if they attend all 4 sessions the...y will get an extra ticket in the draw. Tickets will also be on sale at the sessions. We kick off tomorrow at 5:30pm and are running for the next 4 Monday's! So unplug for an hour with us - lots of fun, totally free!

14.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM PRESIDENT ED SIMMONS: To all our players, families and volunteers, It is with sadness that we advise that the Bears Baseball Club have decided to withdraw from the 2020 season. This is a decision our committee has not taken lightly. After careful consideration of our risks and resources, we have determined that for the safety of our players, families and volunteers withdrawing is the most sensible approach for us. ... It is disappointing after the fantastic start we had to the year with the 'Step Up to the Plate' session, and we thank Owen Godenzi, NEBA and the other clubs for their work in getting this up and running. This program gives the association a solid foundation to build on for 2021 and has our full support as we commence planning for the 2021 season. We would especially like to thank the new juniors and their families for their support throughout this challenging time. Thank you for your understanding.
