24.01.2022 R U OK? The one question you can ask today that can change a life. As part of our commitment to each others wellbeing, were championing the R U OK? message at JMC. We want to give our students and staff more confidence to turn to each other to talk about lifes ups and downs, particularly in what has been a turbulent and difficult year.... So please, take some time today to ask your family, friends, community and yourself; R U OK? You dont have to be an expert to have a caring, meaningful conversation. You dont have to fix their problem or take away their pain, you just need to help them feel supported and show you really care. We would also like to remind our students that you have free 24/7 access to TalkCampus - the leading global peer support network specifically for student mental health and to please contact your admin team to book a free appointment with our Student Counsellor if you feel you need to do so. And please remember - it is OK to not be OK.

QMusic CEO Angela Samut knows that these awards have become an important event in the calendar for our music community and despite the hardship of the last twelve months, our artists have proven that they are among the best in the world. Good luck to all involved, we will be cheering you on, on May 5th!

17.01.2022 Kicking off the week with an extra special studio session featuring JMC Brisbane's Evangie with her single 'Japan'! Evangie was one of the featured artists in the JMC Emerging Artist Showcase at this year's online BIGSOUND and hit #1 on both indie and rock triple j Unearthed charts and #3 overall! Discussing topics of loneliness and feeling different to those around you, this song is filled with emotion and angst and will take listeners on an emotional jo...urney, capturing their attention for its entire length, and again, and again. Joined by her four-piece band infused with searing guitar solos, underlying bass grooves and driving drum beats, it’s only a matter of time before Evangie makes her indelible mark on the indie-rock scene. Enjoy!
