25.01.2022 Dear Beaumaris FM Community It is with a heavy heart that we advise that, effective immediately, Regional Farmers Markets will not run any further Markets until the worst of the threat posed by COVID-19 to our community has passed. This decision applies to all of our Markets - so it covers all of our Markets in Victoria as well as our weekly Market in Helensvale on the Gold Coast.... We know many stall holders rely on our Markets for their businesses - and this is why this decision has been so difficult to make. We have fought very hard to keep our Markets open for as long as we can - including finding new sites in Victoria when the usual sites were closed down - as we knew many of our stall holders needed the time before this decision was made. It has been an incredibly stressful and difficult period for everyone including our stall holder community. Officially, ‘food markets’ remain permissible so long as specific ratios for social distancing measures are in place. These measures were all very much in place at our Markets yesterday - as well as many additional measures to create as much safety as we could. The key has been to continually balance the need to create ways for people to access fresh produce and other food, and the risk to the community from COVID-19. Our priority must however always be safety - for our Market Managers who interact with many people, for each of our stall holders and for you the patrons of our Markets - and so after completing yesterday’s Markets the decision was made to close all Markets until the worst of this crisis has passed. So what next? We do not know how long this period of ‘hibernation' (to quote our Prime Minister) will be, as we do not know the path the virus will take. We are exploring various online options at the moment, including home delivery via our related business, Paddlewheel which is a ‘farmers market store’. We have invited all stall holders in Victoria who need help during this time to contact Paddlewheel. Paddlewheel is already doing extensive home delivery throughout Melbourne and parts of South Gippsland and we are seeking to expand its service area as quickly as we can. For more details please message us and we can connect you to Paddlewheel, or you can call them direct on (03) 9827 6769 or 0428 114 648. We will also continue to post regular updates here - so please look out for these. It is a very difficult and stressful time for everyone. We hope you and your loved ones are safe and well Take care! Claire, Melissa and and the whole team at RFM

25.01.2022 Because the weekend’s are for treating yourself This just in from Kristy @ Sprinkles Spice and Everything Iced SURPRISE!! I’ve added a last minute market to this weekend - because apparently I don’t like to be sitting ever. Dads going to be at the Beaumaris Primary School 8-1pm with all your cupcake treats!!!

24.01.2022 We will be trading at the Beaumaris Primary School until 1pm today!

23.01.2022 Our New Market Schedule!! Please see below our new Farmers Market Schedule! Unfortunately due to the extension of Stage 4, the only Market that will proceed in September is the Inverloch Farmers Market - which is now held on the 3rd Saturday of each month. We will keep you updated on when other Markets will recommence- we are hoping for early October! ... As previously posted, although farmers markets are technically allowed, we do still require permission from our respective site partners (Councils and similar authorities) to be able to operate each market. If permission is not granted soon we will explore alternative sites - but we hope that won’t be necessary. We will keep you updated here on all developments - and if you are based in Gippsland we would LOVE to see you at Inverloch next Saturday. Strong measures to reduce any risk associated with COVID-19 will be in place. Thank you everyone so much for your continued support and patience!

22.01.2022 POP-UP STALLHOLDER We are very excited to welcome Eva to our Beaumaris Farmers Market this morning With all of her beautiful eco-products!! Doing good had never looked so good Folks

22.01.2022 WE ARE BACK - BUT AT A NEW LOCATION!! We are very excited to announce that the Beaumaris Farmers Market will resume in July - BUT we have a new location and a new name! Going forward, the Market will be held on the second Saturday of each month, starting Saturday 11th July, but it will be held at 76 Royal Avenue, Sandringham!... For the time being we are combining the Beaumaris Farmers Market and the Black Rock Farmers Market into ONE Market that going forward will be called the Black Rock Farmers Market - so please make sure you jump over to that page so you can keep in touch with all our updates! We are very grateful to Beaumaris Rotary for their support during this time - it has been fantastic. Like many businesses we have been hit very hard by COVID-19. We are now a much smaller team, and we are needing to rebuild. So BIG thanks to Rotary, Bayside City Council, Victoria, our wonderful stall-holders and the wider farmers market community who have supported us through this very difficult time Our reduced team means we are reducing our Markets, so we are now running ONE market each Saturday, and ONE each Sunday, which necessitated some changes in our Schedule. This is what has led to Beaumaris and Black Rock combining into one Market and moving to the SECOND Saturday of the month, starting July at the Black Rock market location. We are of course very keen to ensure safety for everyone at our Markets, and so we will post details on our COVID-19 requirements over the next few weeks. But for now - we just wanted to thank you for your patience and support and let you know that we are BACK! Take care and see you on the 11th of July!

11.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE Hi everyone we have a minor set back sadly with the relaunch of the Black Rock Farmers Market (and Beaumaris!) Farmers Market. Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, all of our Markets, including Black Rock/Beaumaris, are now postponed until AUGUST - so our first Market at Black Rock/Beaumaris will now be held on Saturday 8th August, 2020.... This is a very difficult and challenging time for everyone - but safety has to come first for our stall holders, for the people who attend our Markets and for the wider community. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding and we can't wait to see you all in August! Please keep monitoring this page and also our main page Regional Farmers Markets for further updates.

06.01.2022 Hi everyone! Happy Spring! We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and well - what a year 2020 is proving to be!! This is a short update on the status of our Markets. Although Markets are technically ‘permitted’ by the State Govt, unfortunately our metropolitan site partners/Council authorities are currently not allowing markets to resume trade during Stage 4 restrictions. In addition, the Phillip Island Nature Park (although not included in Stage 4) is also no...t allowing the Churchill Island Farmers Markets to resume yet. This means that the only Market we are certain about is Inverloch Farmers Market which will run as planned on Saturday 19th September - with strong COVID safety measures in place Please note that Inverloch Farmers Market is now on the 3rd SATURDAY (not the 3rd Sunday) of each Month. We are hopeful that Essendon, Bayside and Williamstown 2 may also run in September - but this depend on the status of Stage 4 and the view of the relevant authorities closer to that time. We will post on our various Facebook pages to keep you all informed. Thank you so much for your patience and support during this period - we can’t wait to be back and are looking forward to Inverloch Farmers Market on the 19th of September and hopefully to our other Markets resuming soon after Take care and best wishes, Claire & Melissa

04.01.2022 Dear RFM Community, We are extremely concerned about reducing the spread of COVID-19 and are taking this very seriously. This is obviously a highly uncertain and stressful time for everyone - especially as information and advice is evolving very quickly.... At this moment, ALL Markets run by Regional Farmers Markets will proceed as usual The current advice is that it is the collective responsibility of everyone to ensure we are acting with a sense of urgency and responsibility to both ourselves and those around us in an effort to minimise the transmission and impact of the virus. The current recommendation (although we appreciate this advice can change) is that only people who had ‘direct contact’ with an infected person (within 1.5 meters of the person for longer than 15 minutes or in the same room for two hours) need to self-isolate and contact their GP, while everyone else is advised to just continue regular (if not enhanced) hygiene precautions. Obviously, If you are unwell (and especially if you are showing any symptoms associated with COVID-19) please seek medical attention and otherwise stay home to look after yourself and DO NOT ATTEND THE MARKET! We will be spreading out the layout of stalls at our Markets as much as we can within each site to help create more space for people to move around. So you may notice some layout changes! Please try not to pack in too tightly when buying and to form a queue with space wherever possible. We will offer some tables and chairs for patrons to use for seating, but these will be disinfected frequently by our management staff and will also be spaced out more than usual. We will continue to post any key updates here as they are considered necessary. Thank you for reading this, and please feel welcome to message us if you have any concerns or questions RFM Management See more

04.01.2022 It’s happening!!! Our Farmers Market at Regional Farmers Markets - Black Rock is ON this Saturday - at Royal Parade Sandringham!! Strict COVID-19 safety measures will apply, but we can’t wait to see you on Saturday from 8am!!

02.01.2022 Hi everyone! We truly hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and well during this difficult time! Due to the State of Emergency Declaration currently in place, we will NOT be running any of our Farmers Market in August, however we are intending to recommence all of our Markets in September. There will be very strong measures in place at all of our Markets to ensure that they will be as safe as possible for both you our wonderful Market community as well as for our St...all Holders - so please stay tuned for details on this. We are sorry for the extended delay - and can't wait to see you (safely!) at one of our Markets in September! Take care and best wishes, Claire & Melissa Regional Farmers Markets
