25.01.2022 Do you know what this is? It is a bio photonic scanner. This measures to see how well we are absorbing our nutrients, it measures our carotenoids which is a type of antioxidant, we need this to protect us from all the bad things. Antioxidants protect us. 19.01.2022 As 2020 comes to an end I’m stepping into what the year gave me. 19.01.2022 R U OK Im taking this moment today to put this here. Recently Ive had several people inbox me to tell me that my over sharing on fb has helped them. Inspired them. Gotten them through a dark day. That my honesty and rawness has helped them know that its ok to not always feel ok ... I often also get people asking me how I feel comfortable sharing so much of myself on here. My reply is. I grew up with anxiety and depression and it went untreated until I had Jemima. And I did a lot of work on myself and learnt that a good support network is everything. And that more people should talk about it so others know it ok to not always feel ok! 08.01.2022 My story about my health and how it effects my life. Since becoming a mum my mental health has taken a hit and had a knock on effect with medications. Internal health and how my body responds. So to be more direct my thyroid isn’t working as well as I would like. My moods swing my energy levels vary and my weight fluctuates dramatically. I’ve been working at this since my first was born but for every kilo I loose I gain 4 and it’s becoming not only an inconvenience but a dan...gerous health issue. I’ve spent a small fortune finding answers and for me the best way to tackle this was a consistent calorie controlled diet of 1500cals a day and some supplements to encourage how my body would normally convert fat stores to energy and help with internal stress which doesn’t naturally happen anymore because of my thyroid. Sounds simple right? I find it so difficult and overwhelming watching my calories, planing my husband’s lunches and having my two girls eat completely opposite foods so much so that I often look after them first and I come last. And I either end up skipping a meal or eating crap/kids left overs and wasting money on take away. I was talking to a friend about this round about ive been stuck on and how torturous it has been. She made some great suggestions. But I’m still so time pore that even prepping my food is hard to keep consistent. Than my SIL suggested out sourcing for some of my meals. This would definitely save me some time and worry. Today I sit at 88.8 kilos I have gained 5kgs in the last month due to not following my meal plan to and skipping to many meals. My waist is 113cm. I am at my heaviest I’ve ever been and it’s effecting my life on more than just a vanity level.
