24.01.2022 In our lifetime weve witnessed Ali vs Frazier, Magic vs Bird, Pavlich vs the Eagles, Prince vs Charlie Murphy... Epic and unforgettable encounters.. Now this September 30th @ Striker Leeming be part of something possibly even greater... But, essentially probably worse! The match of all matches. Era vs era, Beaver vs Beaver in a winner take all grudge match. ... The extremely handsome, eleven time super league mens champs are dusting off the Chuck Taylors and sticky tape for one last match against the current juggernaut of mens netball, the 2017 Beavers.. The past champs vs the new champs, good vs evil, toe to toe, mano e mano!! Game starts @ 10.15am, with inflatable world set up for the kids, Wassup dog gourmet hotdog trailer, nibbles, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and of course it wouldnt be a Striker gig without the AFL grand final commencing at 12.00 and into the afternoon.. There is a park next door with a hundred meter track on it, old timers know what that means, newbies will find out Costing is all inclusive for the day: Mens players: 50.00 Single entry: 40.00 Non drinkers: 10.00 Families: 70.00 Please inform me of attendance asap so quantities can be finalised. 19.01.2022 Fantastic work as a club yesterday!!! Netball already had the center championship wrapped up however yesterday won 8 from 8 which is the first time since who knows when. Possibly 10 years. We have 7 sides playing finals starting this sunday at bouncer. Of those 7 teams 3 have finished top 3 in second and 1 in 4th. ... Great effort from all beavers! Cricket wrapped up the center championship yesterday with 2 extremely exciting wins in thr first timeslot with both the 19s and 35s beating top placed ballajura. All 6 cricket teams are in finals with 3 teams finishing top 1 in second and 2 in 4th. Amazing effort by the mustangs! All finals times will be confirmed later this week so make sure you get up to bouncer and support as many teams as possible.

11.01.2022 The Beastwear #NICL WA Zone Winners were determined over the weekend, with Seamer Snakes (Mens) and Striker Leeming Mustangs (Womens) progressing through to t...he National Finals Series this September. The Seamer Snakes got over the line in a tight contest against Bouncer Roos in the mens division with an 8-run win. David Hankin, named Player of the Final, claimed two wickets for the Snakes in the final over of the game to see his side to victory. Striker Leeming Mustangs took out the WA Womens Grand Final, defeating Bouncer Roos 131 - 58. Congratulations to David Hankin (Seamer Snakes) and Haylee Hoffmeister (Bouncer Roos) who were named Player of the Series in the WA Mens and Womens divisions respectively.

06.01.2022 Great day for the beavers yesterday with all 7 teams through to a Preliminary Final or Grand Final. Wins to Mixed A, Masters, 21s and Mens see them all through to the Grand Final on the 15th. Ladies A reserve also with a great win to put themselves into the Preliminary finals next week. Mixed B and Ladies A with tough games but a second chance this Sunday in the Prelims. Fingers crossed we can see all 7 on Grand Final day. Mustangs also with some great results yesterday... with 5 of 6 teams advancing to the next stage of finals or better. Mens A, Ladies and Mens C all straight through to the Grand finals. 35s with a good win to put themselves into next weeks prelim. Bs with a hard fought loss against ballajura but have a second chance next week against bouncer. Unfortunately 19s after last weeks thrilling win couldnt get the job done this week but have had a fantastic season. Well done Mustangs! Prelim finals times to come!

04.01.2022 A Successful day yesterday for both beavers and mustangs. Netball won 5 from 8 with some great looking uniforms, whilst cricket was able to take 5 out of 6 for a very strong start to the season. Congrats to all that played yesterday

Hope everyone you all had a fabulous Christmas and new year Ok.......Superleague will be running a 6 a side netball comp starting on the 7th Feb, it will run for 6 weeks including the Grand Final and will have the same carnival style format we used last year The grades will be 21 Ladies Open Ladies... 23 Mixed Open Mixed Masters Mixed Men’s Given that some centers last year were unable to field Men’s and Open Mixed netball sides it’s looking like they will let us field 2 sides in each grade which will allow us to get everyone out there that wants to play Can you please let me know who’s interested in playing, 6 a side is a great game so even if your not sure how to play get onboard there will be plenty of team mates to show you what to do Look forward to seeing you all out there!!!! Janet has been picked along with Mel & Emily from Guildford to represent Australia in the 30s & over Ladies in South Africa for the Masters Indoor Cricket World Cup. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Games are played on Thursdays starting 19th October. 10s and Under... 12s and Under 14s and Under Get your registration this week as fixtures for the first round will be finalised Monday 16th October for play on Thursday 19th October. We provide the ball, the bibs and the umpire. Cost is $56 per team per week. 9 week of jam packed fun. 01.01.2022 Greg Mathews "Snake" was an absolute super star of Indoor Cricket. An amazing talent to watch on the court and a gentleman off the court. Snake played for WA at 16 years of age & went on to play & captain the Australian side for a number of years. Snake was a regular at Striker Melville & Seamer Balcatta. We play each other this weekend in SuperLeague and we will all be playing in your honour. A true gem of the game and a gentleman who will be sorely missed. R.I.P Snake
