18.01.2022 Beavers had their first win for the season after 4 games washed out and it was a great win against Reg Bartley at their home ground. Summary: Beavers lost the toss and asked to field first, 2 new players Omkar and Fin were playing their first match against a strong batting lineup. James and Fin bowled a great opening spell by taking took 2 early wickets inside 6 overs, thereafter the captain decided to give a break to Fin at the 8th over but continued with James and Gank to ...bowl from another end. James took another wicket after an excellent catch by debutant Omkar, but Gank bowled an excellent spell in this first over by taking 2 wickets, he was backed up by Manish and by some exceptional catching and fielding skills by beavers. Reg Bartley was bowled out for 62 in 23 overs. All four bowlers bowled with their absolute best bowling figures and Tom in his glorious free-flowing form sealed us a Victory in the 15th Over. Gank: 3/8 (5 Overs) James: 3/25 (7 Overs) Manish: 3/13 (7 Overs) Copeman Hill F: 1/13 (5 Overs) Tom: 44* runs. Omkar: 6 runs. Beavers: 63/3 (15 overs). Reg Bartley 62/10 (23.3 Overs).
