17.01.2022 Today and everyday is a good day to check in on people you know.

13.01.2022 We are pleased and welcome the increase in Funeral attendees to a maximum of Fifty at most facilities. This still depends on each individual facility and their size. For example, at the Manning Great Lakes Memorial Gardens Chapel twenty-five people can be seated inside and twenty-five people seated outside. We acknowledge and apoligise to any people who have not been able to attend a Service because the maximum capacity has been reached. Please bear with us as we slowly trans...ition from limited numbers back to more normal times. It is our responsibility to keep following the current guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety and good health. We are extremely thankful to everyone for being kind to the members of Becker Family Funerals during these different and difficult times. We have experienced complete co-operation and understanding from the community during these times of limited attendees.

11.01.2022 Chris and Debbie are very proud that the last of their five children has graduated school. We are very proud of you Gabbie! A big thank you to St Clare’s for the many years of dedicated teaching and guidance you have given to all our children and so many others.

08.01.2022 These last few months have certainly been testing for the world. We have all done our best to adjust as we learn to manage our new environment in relation to Covid-19. Our hearts have gone to those who have lost a family member during this crisis. As you know we continue to celebrate many meaningful funeral services but with smaller gatherings. It must be hard for a family to select who can and can’t attend. We have also been challenged in many ways to confront new issues. Wh...ilst we are largely proud of our efforts, we have had some failures. The main one being live-streaming of Funerals to those at home. We have had mixed results with live-streaming, some good and others not so good. If you have had a negative experience we live-streaming, we offer our sincere apologies. Now for some good news! We have recently purchased more equipment to help make live-streaming more professional. Picture quality and coverage, sound quality and internet’s availability have been our biggest issue. With our new Swivl we have solved two of our main issues, picture and sound. So after much testing, we are excited to take this new equipment out into the community for a real-life trial. We still have internet coverage issues depending on the location of the funeral service. If we have internet fallout we obviously lose livestream connection. Sometimes somethings are just out of our control. I hope this sums up our livestream progress so and we are constantly working to grow in confidence with Zoom and our new Swivl technology.

01.01.2022 Joel Richard Dark Squid Joel was a remarkable Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew, Cousin and Friend. A special man in the lives of so many. His family appreciate all the love, kindness and Prayers they have received during this difficult time. To celebrate Joel’s life with respect we must abide by the current restrictions and laws regarding Funeral gatherings. Attendance to Joel’s Funeral Service is by invitation only from the family.... To help accommodate those unable to attend, Joel’s Service will be live streamed via Zoom on Tuesday 22nd September commencing at 11:00am. The Meeting ID to enter the live stream is 834 1021 1799. Please enter the live stream 15 minutes before the commencement of the Service. Thank you for your respect and understanding. Club Old Bar and the Old Bar Tavern will have the live stream available to watch at their facilities.
