13.01.2022 We are thrilled to present to you our newest performance opportunity at the school: The Studio Sessions This is a new concept where our private lesson students get an opportunity to.. -> Play a classic cover song in a house band of professional musicians -> Make a live-band music video during this filmed in-house recording session -> Receive a video clip of the song to show their friends ... It's all happening this December in the Studio Sessions and is open to any student who is doing private lessons in our school. In our experience, some of the most significant growth happens when we are placed with people who elevate, challenge and inspire us. The opportunity to play with highly experienced musicians will boost a myriad of musical and ensemble playing skills that are essential for the modern musician. During the incredible music industry innovation that has happened worldwide this year, filming a live music video to release to internet audiences is becoming the new norm in the music industry. With such a stellar team of 17 musicians at the Bec Taylor School, we are highly privileged to have access to this incredible musical skills base here. And this term, we want YOU to have the opportunity to play with them in a house band. Practicing alone in a room is not the only way to learn. We want our students to develop into versatile musicians, especially as the sands in the music industry are shifting so quickly. Our session bands of teachers are already getting students prepared for this experience.
