14.01.2022 Nova at TEG Nova had her first xcountry start at Motorama TEG CCN ODE & 2020 Queensland State Eventing Championships. With her scope in jumping already established she ventured out in the CCN1*-S. A totally new scene for her, open spaces and lots of action, hence the dressage wasn’t quite what it should have been. Onto the jumping which was all clear as usual, just before the supercell descended upon us with rain, hail and lightning. (As usual!)... Sunday xcountry time. Not having ever come out of a start box to a full gallop, she was obviously confused and took some time weaving up to the first obstacle which she jumped and then continued on getting better with a couple of spooks along the way. Gotta give Nat credit for guiding her through and going clear with no jump penalties, just time for her hesitations. Great job. Some pics attached.

09.01.2022 An update on Nova . Larapinta Showjumping Premiere https://www.facebook.com/larapintashowjumping A spectacular venue south of Brisbane. Nova had a cracker two days, with the first comp 1:15m on Saturday a real trial with big atmosphere, lots of fill and a water jump. She handled it very well and although had two rails, I was super proud as 20% of the field either retired or were eliminated. A great job by Nat. Sunday was a day with supercells, rain, hail and wind. Luckily ca...me in after her rounds. 01.01.2022 Finally have had time to edit some photos of Nova at Elysian Fields show jumping last weekend. Thank you to Natalie for arranging everything and MIchelle from Kolora Stud for some last minute prep and Pete for the excellent ride. All clear saturday and sunday in the 1.10-1.15m class. It was so windy and cold, but she handled it well, and although its early days, looking forward to her progress going forward.
