18.01.2022 While Bee Happy is open for treatment and consultations, we regret that we are unable to see a patient if: They or any of their family members have been in close contact with someone waiting on Covid-19 test results, or They or any of their family members have experienced symptoms of Covid-19 without being tested.... We will be happy to see these patients again when: a negative test result is returned, or the person in question has been free of symptoms for at least fourteen days. If this applies to you, please call us to reschedule any upcoming appointments. If you have been contacted by your workplace, school, or the DHHS and advised to self-isolate or avoid public spaces, please DO NOT attend your appointment. SCHOOL CLOSURES In light of the recently returned positive corona virus tests from a student at Catherine McAuley College and a staff member at St. Joseph’s Primary School, until contact tracing has been completed, we are unable to see patients who are: students or staff members at these schools, or have been in close contact with students from these schools We kindly ask that anyone in this situation calls us to reschedule any upcoming appointments. Note: As contact tracing for the case associated with a Girton Grammar family member has been completed for the school community, we are still happy to see Girton Grammar students. However, if you have been contacted by the school or DHHS and advised to self-isolate or avoid public spaces, please do not attend your appointment. 14.01.2022 A message on our "Patients only policy" During the current pandemic, we are only allowing the patient into the clinic. We very much appreciate the frustration parents and carers are feeling at the moment about not being allowed to attend the surgery with their children for routine orthodontic visits. Unfortunately, in these extraordinary times, we have to take every practical measure to limit the risk of community transmission of Covid-19.... Some dental procedures can pose a very high risk for cross infection of this particular pathogen. For that reason, it is imperative that we minimise the number of people entering the premises. We see a much greater number of patients per day than a general dental practice. Allowing a parent or carer to accompany each patient to every routine appointment would increase the number of people in the building, at any one time, beyond what could be safely managed. Regrettably, this means we have to restrict parent/carer attendance to occasions where the clinician feels it necessary to have a face to face discussion in the surgery, or in the case of diagnosed medical or social condition that may require the child to have a parent/carer present. If this is the case for your child, please call reception to confirm, so that the person at the door is aware that you will be attending the appointment. If you do have any questions or concerns about your child’s treatment at any time, please leave a message with our reception and either Dr. Jayasekera, Dr. Sokel, or one of the clinical staff will call you back. We thank you for your patience and understanding during these times.

14.01.2022 Lost Property Notice: Have you recently lost a ring while attending Bee Happy Orthodontics? We have had a pretty special looking ring handed in.... If you believe this might be yours, please inbox us or call us with a description so we can reunite the ring with it's owner. Please feel free to share this post.

14.01.2022 With recent Government announcements, we have updated our policies on how to handle appointments. If you have any questions regarding our policies during the Covid-19 times, please refer to our website. If this doesn't answer your question/s, please comment below and we'll do our best to inform you and keep our website updated. If you haven't visited us for a while, you might notice some new procedures relating to social distancing:... * Only the patient will be allowed to enter the building, except in certain circumstances. * Anyone entering the building will be required to have their temperature checked with a non-contact thermometer. * Only 3 people will be allowed in the waiting room at any time, so you may be asked to wait in your vehicle until called. * Stringent disinfection/sterilisation procedures will be in place, including hand sanitising and antiseptic mouth rinse for every patient prior to their procedure. Thanks for your patience during these times. http://www.beehappyortho.com.au/allowing-patients-appointm/

12.01.2022 * IMPORTANT INFORMATION* With the recent threat of the COVID-19, or Coronavirus, Bee Happy Orthodontics have implemented some measures to help reduce the spread of this virus. In addition to our already strict hygiene measures and infection control protocols, we are now asking that ONLY patients enter our waiting room. We ask that parents/friends please either wait in your car or take a seat on our front porch and enjoy the break. If the doctor needs to speak to a parent/gua...rdian, our nurses will find/phone you. If you experience any of the virus symptoms, we ask you to refrain from presenting to our offices and contact us by phone to reschedule. We want to assure all our patients and families that we take the threat and your protection very seriously and want to continue to see our patients with the minimum disruption possible. We also encourage you to maintain healthy habits and hygiene and take care of yourselves.

09.01.2022 School Closures In light of the recently returned positive corona virus tests from a student at Sacred Heart Kyneton, and their possible connection to Kyneton Secondary College, until contact tracing has been completed we are unable to see patients who are, or have been in close contact with, students or staff members at these schools. If you are in this situation, we kindly ask that you call us on 5442 5100 to reschedule your appointment. We have now resumed seeing patients... attending Catherine McAuley College, St. Joseph's Primary School, and Girton Grammer School, provided no member of the patient's family has been identified as a "close contact" of any positive coronavirus case. If a family member is a close contact, we may still be able to the patient, as long as they have been tested for Covid and returned a negative result. If you have been contacted by your school or DHHS and advised to self-isolate or avoid public spaces, or you are waiting on the results of a Covid test, please do not attend your appointment. We kindly ask that you call us on 5442 5100 to reschedule. See more

09.01.2022 So this post is a little overdue, but contains so much cuteness, I'm sure I'll be forgiven. Our Receptionist, Monique, and her husband Carl welcomed this gorgeous little bundle of love on the 15th of June. Welcome earthside Nate

09.01.2022 Lockdown 7.0 Thank you so much to our many patients and their parents and carers who have adapted so well to the regulations and procedures which have been in place during the pandemic. We really appreciate your support in our endeavours to keep our community as safe as possible. Under the current restrictions, we are permitted to see some patients for certain procedures, but unfortunately, we will once again need to reschedule others.... If your scheduled appointment is not permitted during the lockdown, you will be contacted beforehand by phone or by text. If you do not hear from us, we will see you at your scheduled time as per your reminder text. We are aware that some of you have had your appointment rescheduled several times already and we share in your frustration. We appreciate your understanding and your continued patience and look forward to welcoming you to Bee Happy as soon as we are permitted to see you. Masks are mandatory unless an exemption applies and each person entering the building must check in separately using the QR Code or using our check-in kiosk with the assistance of a staff member. We politely request that where possible, only the patient attend the appointment. We completely understand that not all patients will be comfortable attending on their own, and in this case, they are welcome to attend with one other person. Please call us to reschedule if you would rather not attend during lockdown, or if or any member of your household - has any Covid-19 symptoms - is waiting on the results of a Covid test, - has recently been to Shepparton or any areas of concern in Melbourne or any exposure sites elsewhere.

09.01.2022 We are big fans of PPE and sanitisation!!! We are also a big fan of this doctor

07.01.2022 Last week the Government eased dental and orthodontic restrictions to Level 2. Some procedures are still restricted, so our staff will be in contact to book suitable appointments for those patients who have had appointments rescheduled. We will continue with our strict social distancing measures and sterilisation procedures:... 1.Only the patient will be allowed to enter the building, except in certain circumstances. 2.Anyone entering the building will be required to have their temperature checked with a non-contact thermometer. 3.Only 3 people will be allowed in the waiting room at any time, so you may be asked to wait in your vehicle until called. 4.Stringent disinfection/sterilisation procedures will be in place, including hand sanitising and antiseptic mouth rinse for every patient prior to their procedure. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these trying times.

07.01.2022 ** Please note ** In order to minimize the health risk to our staff and patients, please avoid making payments in cash if at all possible. We have EFT and Card tap facility available. We apologise for the disruption and thank you for your patience.

04.01.2022 Due to the increasing number of cases in Bendigo, we are once again requesting that only patients enter the building for an appointment. This will reduce the number of possible exposures to both our patients and our staff. Exceptions will be made for certain types of appointments, and under certain circumstances. ... If you feel it is essential for you to attend your child’s appointment, please call us to arrange this or discuss this with us when your child checks in. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding. See more
