21.01.2022 We were called out to remove a swarm Thursday night and brought it home. The next morning I saw a thick cloud of bees above our hives and we scrambled to follow a swarm from our own hives! We found it on our neighbors bush and safely removed it. When we checked the hives at home we discovered it was the same swarm we had removed the night before. Why had they swarmed again? It was hot in the nuc hive with no shade or insulated cover and the hive disk was open instead of having the queen includer gate over the entrance to keep her in.
