The program is designed to give young, talented players a chance to immerse themselves in all elements of being a jazz musician. Alexander was successful on both of his main instruments, trombone and guitar. The residency will culminate with all participants coming together to form... a big band to feature alongside James in a concert open to the public on the 23rd of September.
