Last Man Stands Beaudesert will have a CovidSafe plan in place at all venues and this will be communicated to all our players and officials and strictly enforced. 09.01.2022 Important Message from the Committee Hello all, After a rocky start to the season.... Its excellent to see kids and the seniors playing cricket for the Pirates again. We already had some great positives, including Jasper coming on board, kids being selected in SEQ Teams, Junior Teams doing very well and some kids playing cricket for the first time. There is also a Junior Blasters Program kicking off this coming Monday and there is still 6 free spots availed for kids 5 9 years old. This notice is also to advise that the annual AGM will be held outside at the canteen at Dauth Park on November 26th at 6pm. This will be directly after junior training. Many of the committee members have been on the committee since the time the Pirates were restarted (2013). We are looking for new people to come on to the committee and bring new ideas and fresh opinions. All committee positions will be vacated and a new committee will be formed on the night. The club strongly encourages anyone who is interested in seeing the Pirates succeed in the future, to stick your hand up and join the committee. We require a number of people who will all bring different skills and different opinions. This will keep the club strong. If you have any questions please give me a call on 0410 226 001. 03.01.2022 Hello players, family members and supporters. Its been a while since you have heard anything from the Cricket Club. As you are all aware, we have been unable to do anything about the end of season presentation. At last weeks committee meeting, it was decided that we will have a junior presentation that will be for all junior players and as many family members permitted at the same time. The idea is that we will have the function based at the canteen out the back of the club.... The club will arrange food and drinks, each team will then brake off to separate areas and conduct individual team presentations. At this stage we are waiting to see what freedoms stage three restrictions may bring on July 10. More information will provided as we get it. Additionally we have raffles at the Sports Club this Friday. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Club from tomorrow 3807 5836. The Draw will be at 7pm.
