25.01.2022 On Wednesday, 9 September we held our Term 3 Brilliant Kids Morning Tea in recognition of our students consistently making positive choices and always trying their best. Our brilliant kids had wonderful information to share about what they really enjoyed about our school and what we could do to make our school even better. Congratulations to all of our brilliant kids for being such amazing role models keep shining brightly!

23.01.2022 Amito and Stephanie are our Telethon School Ambassadors. As part of their role, they have organised a "Dress in Telethon Colours Day", to be held on Friday, 11th September. Students are invited to wear blue or red to school and to bring a donation for Telethon. 21.01.2022 R U Ok? Day At Beenyup Primary, we are creating a strong nurturing culture where connecting and checking in with one another is an everyday part of our team. Yesterday was R U Ok? Day - our national day of action when we remind each other that every day is the day to ask, "Are you Ok?". As part of nurturing these conversations and connections, our staff enjoyed a range of treats for morning and afternoon tea.

20.01.2022 Today we had our second Ride to School Day at Beenyup Primary School. It was a wonderful day and we had approximately fifty students from Year 1-6 participating. Thank you to Mrs Gowland and our wonderful Your Move ambassadors for designing and creating such a great track for us!



20.01.2022 Jumps, Throws and 400m at Beenyup Congratulations to all of our wonderful students for their participation and sportsmanship during todays events. Thank you to our families who came along and cheered for our students. Our newly installed jump pit is amazing! A huge thank you goes to the Honourable Matthew Swinbourn MLC for his generosity in covering the cost of the sand for our school. We only have two more sleeps until our first ever Athletics Carnival on Friday and we cant wait!

17.01.2022 Walk to School Day On Wednesday, 9 September 2020, Beenyup Primary celebrated its first Walk to School Day. We had 80 students participate which was a wonderful turnout! Members of our Beenyup team, students and their families walked together from ANZAC Park in Byford to school. They then enjoyed some delicious fruit and finger buns compliments of Byford Coles and Bakers Delight in Byford. A huge thank you goes to everyone involved and to our local Coles and Bakers Delight for their generosity. Well done, everyone!

17.01.2022 Bushfire drill Congratulations to our amazing students and team of staff who just completed their first bushfire drill to our safer locations the Undercover Area and Rooms 3 & 4. Everyone moved quickly and calmly Well Done!

12.01.2022 Athletics Carnival On Friday last week we had our first ever Athletics Carnival and it was wonderful! The weather was perfect as our families enjoyed coffee from the coffee van and a sausage sizzle from our amazing P&C while they were cheering for our students. Our staff were dressed in carnival coloured tutus, our students marched in their factions with pride and showed sportsmanship throughout the day. Our families and students cheered on one another it was fantastic to ...see our parents compete against some of our students and the staff! Huge thanks go to: Mr Fry, our PE specialist, and our Beenyup team for their efforts in the lead up to and on the day to ensure our first carnival was successful The P&C for organising the coffee van and for volunteering their time to organise and cook the delicious sausage sizzle orders for everyone Woolworths for loaning their BBQ to our P&C for the day Morwenna for making our Beenyup staff carnival tutus and capes Covill family for taking drone footage of the day for us Our families for supporting the school and being a great cheer squad; and The reason we are all building brighter futures together our students! Our children displayed wonderful sportsmanship throughout the day, cheering and encouraging each other during individual and team events. 09.01.2022 Learning Journey WOW! Our first Learning Journey at Beenyup Primary last night was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much to all of our wonderful families who participated in this special event. Special thanks go to our dedicated P&C for hosting a sausage sizzle, the many families who purchased items and donated books to our library from our Book Fair; and to our remarkable team of staff for their commitment to building brighter futures together for our children. It was incredible to feel and see the community spirit flowing through the school. We hope our families enjoyed the Learning Journey just as much as we did!
