11.01.2022 What a fun week we had at kindy !! #Bookfair 2020 . We had many special visitors

09.01.2022 Another wonderful opportunity for community engagement presented itself when two of our Kookaburra Group children wrote to our local 'WAR-ON-WASTE ' group regarding our worm farm or lack of We had the worm farm but no worms. After receiving the children's request, Liz from 'War on Waste' contacted us and together with Lise they came and ran a session with our children on Friday. Lise explained how the worm farm works and showed us the castings and worms. We saw the 'Worm Wee' and found out how beneficial it will be for our gardens. We got to ask lots of questions about how we can look after the worms. We are looking forward to our continuing relationship with these wonderful ladies and this local community group. #waronwaste

08.01.2022 After reaching out to Liz, from our local ‘WAR-ON-WASTE’ group, we are proud to announce our Kindy is now a collection point for BREAD TAGS FOR WHEELCHAIRS. We are also working with Liz and looking into further environmental initiatives we can engage with at the Kindy.

06.01.2022 UNCLE ALAN joined us for a very special YARNING CIRCLE- DEDICATION. In turn, our Kindy friends were invited to spread sacred Uluru Desert Sand as Uncle Alan played the clapping sticks to ceremonially honour them. What a wonderful moment and one we will all remember for years to come. ... We always learn so much while YARNING IT UP with Uncle Alan. To say thank you our Kindy friends were excited to present Alan with their own special surprise and gift him photos of his recent visits to our Kindy .

06.01.2022 What a lovely afternoon we had celebrating Katies 30 years at Beerwah Kindy. Thank you to all those that joined us and made it so special. We wish Katie all the very best for this next chapter in her life and we will miss her very much. Katie will always and forever remain in the hearts of the Beerwah Kindy Children and staff xxx
