25.01.2022 eDiscovery is a STEM-related school holiday program, developed by USC to increase student interest and participation in tertiary education. In 2021, eDiscovery sessions will be delivered at USC’s regional campus locations. The program focus is hands-on, inquiry-based, student activities, which provide direct exposure to science, technology, engineering and mathematics activities. The program also caters for creative children by offering artistic and acting experiences. USC pr...eservice teachers, academic staff, ICT staff and external presenters share their knowledge and expertise in fun 3 hour workshops where students gain practical knowledge and skills in scientific experimentation, creative design, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. eDiscovery is partly funded by the Australian Government Department of Industry, Innovation and Science under the Maker Projects - Community STEM Engagement Grants 2020. eDiscovery is at USC Sunshine Coast campus from Tuesday 15 to Thursday 17 December 2020 and sessions are filling fast! 06.01.2022 Day 2 of the Biology camp. We completed a Rocky Shore and Freshwater Spring study. Highlights included sightings of Koalas, Manta Rays, Turtles and Dolphins.
03.01.2022 Teachers v Students netball match held at lunchtime on Tuesday was very competitive. The Teacher’s team were victorious on this occasion, but I think a rematch is in order. Well done to both teams! Great sportsmanship was on display.
