14.01.2022 Urgent Notice BBD Weekend Pennant Grand Finals Please note the Weekend Grand Finals will be held , if spectators wish to attend it is their decision. If an p...layer who does not wish to play they have the right to withdraw. Players are encouraged to find another way to greet and thank their opponents and not pick up other players bowls. Bowls Victoria have advised that this weekends Metropolitan Pennant will be only for players, managers and coaches and will be spectator free. Bendigo Country Week and Women's Country Carnival are still being run at this time. Region Sides Championship in Shepparton and the Bowls Victoria awards night has been cancelled. State Championship Week and Champions of State Pennant is still being discussed. The Government has advised there are to be no mass gatherings of more than 500 from MONDAY See more

06.01.2022 Following the Victorian State Government’s planned lifting of COVID-19 restrictions yesterday (Monday May 11) and after further discussion with Sport & Recreati...on Victoria, Vic Sport and Bowls Australia, the following information lists the measures to ensure that we can return to the sport that we all enjoy from Tuesday May 12 at 11:59pm through to Sunday May 31 (pending further announcements from the State Government). The sole priority at this point in time is to provide safe social opportunities to play Bowls. We want Bowlers to start to socially connect with others in small groups, practicing Bowls. Bowls Victoria will continue to liaise with the Victorian State Government, Vicsport & Bowls Australia to provide specific advice for Bowlers for the month of June. The below link provides information for: > Clubs > Practicing Bowls > General (Around The Green) Hygiene > Facility Use INFORMATION HERE: bit.ly/2zygoDy This advice is general in nature and the COVID-19 situation is forever changing. Please keep an eye out on www.bowlsvic.org.au and our Bowls Victoria Facebook Page for any further updates in regard to restrictions. Until the Victorian Government releases a further update (estimated to be in early June 2020), these measures are for the foreseeable future, to keep Victorian Bowlers safe. Look after yourself. This game will feature legend Matt Flapper in Kookas colours which is most exciti...ng for our local bowls community. Play starts at 6pm with a bbq available. The bar will be open, great music will be played and a big screen will be up to show the day/night test. Sounds like the perfect night to me. See y’all out at Strathfieldsaye tomorrow night
