19.01.2022 A Message from Music Ministry; This week has been challenging for many as we deal with personal loss, grief and uncertainties in our daily lives & community. As a result we can easily develop a habit of trusting self as form of protection.... But this mindset just keeps us from trusting God. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. Trusting God is a daily habit. Spending time reading & meditating on His Word and listening as God speaks to your heart in whatever season you find yourself in. This month Music Ministry finds it's self in a season of busyness, grief and heavy hearts for many of our members & as a result we believed God was calling us to take a breather and reflect on the Word we have been so eager to share over the past few months. May you be encouraged to pray this prayer with us today; God, I don’t want to live on my own. I want to trust You. When I don’t know what to do, I’ll trust You. When I don’t understand why, I’ll trust You. I’ll do my part with Your help, and when I’m done, I’ll trust You to do the rest. Amen.

17.01.2022 Dear Friends in Christ, Jesus said, "Take and eat; this is my body, given for you...Take and drink; this is my blood, shed for you for the forgiveness of sins...Do this in remembrance of me" Over the past month, I've been meeting with four young members of Holy Cross, teaching them regarding the Lord's Supper. After learning, and their knowledge examined, they were ready for their First Communion! ... On Wednesday night I had the privilege of performing the Rite of Admission to the Sacrament of the Altar for them. This was celebrated as a Private Communion Service for them and their families. This marks the continuation of their Instruction in the Faith, as they prepare to undertake Confirmation lessons next month. Please keep them and all children in your prayers. 15.01.2022 Dear Friends in Christ, a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; ... a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace. {Ecclesiastes 3:2-8} Last Sunday marked the first six months of my ministry in Murray Bridge! Yes, six months and two seasons. I’ve been reflecting on this milestone and the changes our family have experienced, and also how much the world has changed during this time. Life is a series of different seasons. It is never fixed, always changing. Sometimes for better, other times worse. But there is one thing that never changes. God’s love for us in Jesus Christ is constant. His grace is ongoing. His Holy Spirit constantly with us. His promises are something we can hold Him to. Always. God bless you all. Always. Pastor Paul
