13.01.2022 Bega's Homelessness Outreach Team (HOT) and Youth Team have been assisting Kalgoorlie Police with the SRS Supported Transport Initiative over the past few months with collecting passengers and the provision of breakfast before the journey. We typically provide around 100 breakfast sandwiches to the passengers while they wait for the bus to take them back to Warburton and other remote communities.

12.01.2022 Today at Bega we held our very first monthly Health Expo for 2021. It was a great turnout and we would love to thank everyone who attended. We look forward to seeing all your friendly faces again next month on Tuesday the 16th of March 2021.

08.01.2022 The FoodBank Mobile service will be starting up on Friday 19 February 2021 and run weekly for 12 weeks. Access to this service is available via Bega's Shelter at 8 MacDonald Street between 10:15am and 10:45am. For all other locations and times please refer to the flyer for more information.

05.01.2022 Connected Beginnings - "Welcome to the World" event video. Did you know that Bega is currently working in partnership with Wanslea Family Health Service to deliver the Connected Beginnings Program? This program works to improve early childhood development and the overall health outcomes of Aboriginal children (aged 0-5) by increasing access to culturally centred services and healthcare providers. Bega recently welcomed its new Health Promotions Officer (Kayla) who’s primary r...ole is to work with individuals, families and communities to provide health promotion programs that focus on harm reduction strategies, school education, support on child and maternal health issues and family welfare. If you would like to meet Kayla, she will be available at our Health Expo next week at the HLC on Tuesday 16 February 2021. 03.01.2022 On Tuesday 16 February 2021 Bega will be holding its first monthly Health Expo for 2021 at the Healthy Lifestyle Centre (21 Boulder Rd) from 9am until 12 noon. Our staff will be available on the day to meet with you and discuss our wide range of programs / services.
