23.01.2022 What a privilege it is to have Samuel Hornshaw hitting the stage this year at @freedommusicfestivalaus He’s a singer/songwriter from Sydney with a heart and ...mission for the gospel. Sam attends Dayspring Church where he is a worship leader, featuring on their 2019 EP, "Room For You EP" with his song "Love Personified." Later that year, he released his debut self-produced EP, "Look at the Light. In June 2020 he released his popular single, Rivers and Rain; a vulnerable and intimate singer/songwriter style song that challenges listeners in the topic of eternity, urging them to consider the fragility of our lives and the idea that there is more to life than what we currently see. 21.01.2022 Me =Pretty stoked In the last week, we pulled off a pretty big deal and released a new album..in the middle of co-vid. I love singing and creating joy in a roo...m I've discovered an easy way to show the songs I write and get to sing- and no one has to leave home. It’s going FB LIVE. Really enjoying the process and joy in playing like this. Going to be exploring a bunch of new times. Last night, didn’t work so well. Sorry about that. 19.01.2022 Fearless First lyric I often start at the start of a song and see where it leads. I was chugging along in a drop D tuning on my guitar (where you drop the low E... string to the D note..it just sounds nice). Then i started with a line "I am the voice that speaks to doubt/ i give the timid a fearless shout" and i knew it was the voice of fearlessness speaking deep to the fear that tries to limit any creative process. Lately I've been playing this in DADFAD (a favourite guitar open tuning of mine). I'll show you what I mean soon. Fearless is on my latest album. Check it out wherever you listen to music

We feel truly blessed that so many people have connected... with this song and with our album Better Day and want to thank all the radio presenters and stations that have supported not just this song but all of our music. Congratulations to all the other artists who have made the chart, with a special mention to two artists that we have been working with, who have made the chart for the first time - Della Harris and Dan Higgins. 04.01.2022 Did you know The song "It Is Well With My Soul" was written by a successful Christian lawyer Horatio Spafford. His only son died at age 4 in 1871. In 1872, th...e great Chicago fire wiped out his vast estate, made from a successful legal career. In 1873 he sent his wife & 4 daughters over to Europe on a summer trip on the ill fated SS Ville du Havre. Since he had a lot of work to do, he planned to follow them later. The Ship sank and he lost his 4 daughters with the wife being the only survivor. She sent him a famous telegram which simply read, "SAVED ALONE...." On his return home, his Law firm was burned down and the insurance company refused to pay him. They said "It's an Act of God". He had no money to pay for his house and no work, he also lost his house. Then while sitting and thinking what's happening to him, being a spiritual person, he wrote a song - "Whatever, my Lord, You have taught me to say - It is well, it is well with my soul". My dear friend, a good attitude will determine your altitude. When you look at your life, career, job or family life, what do you say? Do you praise God? Do you blame the devil? A good attitude towards God makes Him move on your behalf. Just sit down and say, "Today, God, it is well with my soul, I am thankful I had a peaceful sleep, I am thankful I am alive with possibilities, I am thankful I have a roof over me, I am thankful I have a job, I am thankful that I have Family and Friends. Above all, I am thankful that I have the Lord Jesus Christ on my side." Be blessed and don't be envious or shocked when others are prospering because you don't know what they have been through to get there (test, trials and tribulation) so thank God for what you have.
