Detours will be in... place from 2am Saturday to 5am Friday 25 September. The intersection of Glenferrie and Malvern roads will also close from 8pm Monday 21 September to 5am Friday 25 September. Detour using Tooronga Road, Kooyong Road and Toorak Road. Changes also apply to tram services on routes 16 and 72. Check the PTV website or app to see how your journey is affected. 20.01.2022 The Monash Freeway Upgrade is underway From 21 September until 2022, the ban on trucks using the right-hand lane of the Monash Freeway will be temporarily su...spended. Trucks are still encouraged to avoid travelling in the right-hand lane so that construction vehicles can safely enter and exit the construction area. 13.01.2022 The inbound exit and entry at Millers Road will close for 6 weeks, as West Gate Tunnel Project work continues through Spring. Closures will be in place from 9pm... Friday 21 August to Monday 5 October. Need to exit the inbound lanes of the West Gate Freeway at Millers Road? Take the earlier turn-off at Geelong Road, or u-turn using the inbound exit and outbound entry ramps at Williamstown Road. Need to access the citybound lanes of the West Gate Freeway from Millers Road? Follow the signed detours using Geelong Road, or u-turn using the outbound exit and inbound entry ramps at Grieve Parade. During this time, crews will shift and rebuild the ramps as part of the major works to widen the West Gate Freeway from eight to 12 lanes. There are only four reasons to leave home under the current restrictions: shopping for food and essential items, medical care and caregiving, exercise, and work or study - if you cannot work or study from home. #victraffic

06.01.2022 1.10pm update - Hume Freeway collision The Hume Freeway has re-opened between the M80 Ring Road and Cooper Street following an earlier collision. All north boun...d lanes are open, however the right lane remains closed on the south bound carriageway. Traffic remains heavy in the area. The VicRoads signals team is continuing to monitor conditions on surrounding roads and will adjust signals in real-time where necessary #victraffic ---------------------------------------------------------- The Hume Freeway has re-opened both directions between Cooper Street and the M80 Ring Road except for the Cooper Street inbound entry ramp. Heavy haulage is currently in place to remove the truck. Inbound traffic is using the left emergency lane past the scene. Both outbound lanes are open. #victraffic ---------------------------------------------------------- 12pm - Hume Freeway closure The Hume Freeway (Craigieburn Bypass) is closed in both directions between the M80 Ring Road and Cooper Street due to a serious collision. Emergency services are directing traffic. A truck has jackknifed and crews are also dealing with a diesel spill. If the Hume Freeway is part of your journey, try Sydney Road/Hume Highway or Edgars Road as alternatives but allow extra time. VicRoads engineers continue to monitor conditions in real-time and will adjust signals as needed to keep traffic moving in the area. #victraffic

Our... crew remain in the left hand emergency lane prior to the Boundary Road exit ramp with vehicles involved in the collision. Drive with caution past the incident. Thank you for your patience during the closure. #victraffic ----------------------------- 10.15am update - INCIDENT: M80 Ring Road collision. All Altona-bound lanes of the M80 Ring Road are blocked just prior to Boundary Road due to a multi-vehicle collision. Heavy haulage are now on scene with tow trucks to remove the vehicles involved. Emergency services are inspecting and clearing the road surface. The closure is under the control of Victoria Police and will re-open once safe to do so. #victraffic ------------------------------- 9am INCIDENT: M80 Ring Road collision. All Altona-bound lanes of the M80 Ring Road are blocked just prior to Boundary Road due to a multi-vehicle collision. Our crews are with emergency services directing traffic at the scene.
