While this can present some obstacles, the organisation of the awesome Set Your Scene team with assistance from Being Bridal and White Veil Occasions & Events never fail to succeed. In the words of tonight's beautiful Bride Dana - we "Nailed it!" 20.01.2022 You may think it's a good idea to have your mum or friend set up your ceremony, they get to help and feel needed, you save money by only paying the DIY hire fee- please believe me when I tell you it's harder than it looks! ! Carrying chairs, umbrellas, pedastools and sashes in the afternoon sun will leave your helpers hot and sweaty- not a great feeling for them when they're dressed up to attend your reception. I sincerely recommend planning ahead and hiring the professionals :)

20.01.2022 Have you heard of a first fight box? Write love letters to each other and place into a box along with a bottle of wine. Nail it shut at the wedding. When you ...have your first fight, open it up, pour the wine, go to separate corners, read the love letter & remember what it's all about. 08.01.2022 Dont forget to PERSONALIZE your wedding! Think about what you like as a couple and what your hobbies are. Your theme is not just the colour! If you love reading maybe you could stack old books as flower stands, if you love movies look into hiring an old theatre for your wedding reception (I'm 95% sure the Capri theatre on Goodwood Rd does this), fitness freaks can give out headphones as bomboniere or how about setting up a mini outdoor theatre to relax your guests during an extended pre dinner drinks & canapes, you could show your favourite love story while you're having photos taken <3

05.01.2022 I heard a great tip recently about deciding on what size bouquet to order, stand infront of a mirror and hold up saucepan lids infront of you, whatever size lid you are happy with, measure it and copy those measurements to your florist or bouquet designer for the perfect fit :)
