19.01.2022 I spent the afternoon creating a bonsai from a liquidamber that looked very much like a bush rather than a tree. Much more wiring and trimming to do over the next few years, but looking really good. Thank you to Mount Gambier Garden Center.

15.01.2022 DIY Deodorant Workshop, Saturday 12th September, 3:00-4:00pm Unpackaged. For a long time I never thought of how using an anti-perspirant actually blocked the pores in my armpits with the aluminium based product I was using! All I thought about was being dry....I never thought about how toxic this would be for my body, and how I was putting this product so close to precious tissue and glands. This workshop is a perfect opportunity to make your own deodorant with products... you know! Make a beautiful paste deodorant scented with your choice of essential oils to take home. We will also make a solid deodorant (melt and mix). One guest will get to take home a full swivel up deodorant (drawn on the day) and everyone will bring some home to try!! 13.01.2022 I like to wash my fruit and veges before I use them to help to wash off extra pesticides or the wax coating that is on lots of fruits and veggies. The acetic acid in the vinegar, along with the cleaning properties of lemon essential oil will help remove pesticides, along with dirt, bacteria, or wax. Marianne xx

09.01.2022 Recipe for creating gorgeous teachers pressies of bath and foot soak with our beautiful essential oils, Epsom salts, FCO, and natural food colouring. 1 cup Epsom salts 1 tspn fractionated coconut oil (FCO) 1/4 teaspoon natural colouring *... 10 drops essential oil Place Epsom salts and colouring in glass bowl, stir until well combined and no lumps. Place FCO In a tiny bowl and add 10 drops of your essential oil. Add the essential oil mixture to the dry ingredients. Mix well, using back of spoon to help distribution. Add botanicals if you wish. Place in glass jar, decorate with stickers, ribbon, and tags. Enjoy gifting xx In the photo I made up 3 batches: Peppermint with blue spiralina Lemon with tumeric Lavender with beetroot powder If you need some quality essential oils to make this recipe, I have a few introductory sets of these favourite 3 essential oils on hand.
