20.01.2022 Blue Group had lots of fun with our pet Bluey the Blue Tongue Lizard today! We all had a pat and found it fascinating to watch him feast on snails that the children had found in the garden!

10.01.2022 What an absolute treat we had today! Blue Group loved our visit from Seaweed Sally! It was a fabulous hands-on experience, learning all about the amazing creatures of the sea. The touch tank was a real highlight.... very brave children having a hold of all the fascinating animals Thanks Seaweed Sally!

09.01.2022 Blue Group are CRAZY about minibeasts at the moment! The children are LOVING finding all sorts of slugs, bugs and creepy crawlies in our playground! Today we learnt all about INSECTS..... we read books, sang songs and watched insect clips on YouTube to help us learn that insects have 6 legs, 3 body parts, 2 antennae and some have wings!

08.01.2022 Dear Beleura Hill Preschool Families, As you may have heard Victoria has been placed under stage 4 restrictions this afternoon and Premier Daniel Andrews has announced a State of Disaster for Victoria. For our preschool this means all groups will be moving to remote learning as of this Thursday 6th of August, until Wednesday 14th of September (unless otherwise advised).... We will be taking this Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th of August to prepare for remote program delivery. There will be NO SESSIONS on these CHILD FREE days. We will be offering care during Stage 4 restrictions. Children deemed vulnerable or children whos parents are from a list of prescribed essential workers will be able to attend for care purposes. 07.01.2022 Dear Beleura Hill Preschool Families, As you will have heard...we will unfortunately be back under stage 3 restrictions in our region as of midnight tonight, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. We have received notification from the state government and DET that our preschool is able to remain open to all families at this stage and that the extended school holidays only applies to primary and secondary schools.... There will be a letter going out to all Beleura Hill Preschool families tomorrow via email. 03.01.2022 Red Group had a visit from Seaweed Sally today She taught us all about sharks, blue whales and lots of other amazing sea creatures! We were able to touch live sea creatures including sea stars, sea urchins and sea sponges....we also got to investigate special sea creatures and items that Seaweed Sally found on the beach....what a day
