19.01.2022 Wow what a transformation... and we arent even finished yet! This is a quick shot from a home Excel worked on in Yarrawarrah a few months back. On the right hand side of the roof you can clearly see that the titles are quite dirty, and in the yellow circles you will see the damaged titles running the length of the roof span. After working on the home (left) you can see that Excel has re-tilted the damaged areas, and included pins on each row to ensure that the tiles do not m...ove out of place and break again. Next job on the list is to finish painting the roof its new colour... Keep an eye out this week to see the full transformation...

09.01.2022 The client of this home in Engadine wanted a two tone mottled to match the original style of the brickwork of the home. To get this final look and pattern, I was able to use NXT Coolzone from Nutech Paints. Here is the completed job, and the result is a fantastic look which brings the whole home together. This two tone style is a unique design that works effectively on older houses like this where it completes the overall aesthetic of the house by ensuring the same styling is seen throughout the home. I would also like to give a special thanks to Nutech Paint for supplying me with the high quality paint and painting accessories which were used on this, and many other jobs that I work on. The roof was not completed yet as the client wanted a two tone mottled paint job to match the brickwork. Stay tuned to see the completed roof restoration. 06.01.2022 Excel Roof Restoration Fun Fact: This project in Illawong uses a combination of a Box Gabled style roof, and Skillion roof design to create an aesthetic, layered effect and to give an interesting look to this home. It also gives the idea of a larger size and scaled building which provides a modern look and feel to the home. You can see this where the roof is supported at one end by a wall raised higher than the other, enabling the roof to be pitched at a steeper angle, providing great aesthetic qualities and functionally, allows runoff of more water in heavy rain.

04.01.2022 We are back at our home from Illawong, and this week we wanted to share with you an interesting feature of the roof of this particular home. You will notice on this job there are multiple sets of clear tiles which match the style of the original Terracotta tiles of the roof. These are the same profile as the original, and make for a cost effective solution to installing sky lights in your roof and ceiling.... This is an awesome way to bring more natural light into your home with very little disturbance to your roof, meaning less chance of leaks and issues sealing the cavities.

01.01.2022 This job in Menai had a few broken tiles spread around the entire roof, it was fixed and restored to give the house a clean and pristine look which compliments the hip and valley roof design.
