19.01.2022 Advice from, the A-G's Dept as at 5pm today - March 23rd. At present marriages may still be solemnised where the density requirements are met - less than 100 people indoors (with a 4 square metre social distance) and less than 500 outdoors. We urge marriage celebrants to take steps to ensure their own safety which may include reducing the number of attendees or relocating to a larger space. Public venues such as restaurants, bars and cafes and places of religious worship ha...ve been affected with the restrictions and marriage celebrants will need to discuss any changes in arrangement with the parties. The states and territories are also implementing their own requirements and these should also be complied with. Responses to these issues are changing rapidly and we recommend celebrants refer to the Department of Health's website for information. We will endeavour to keep celebrants updated of any changes and hope to send out an all-celebrant message shortly. 17.01.2022 Testimonial We contacted Bell exactly 3 1/2 weeks before our wedding date as originally we were supposed to marry at the registry. It was cancelled due to COVID-19... Bell took on our wedding and helped us get all the paperwork in time. As you can imagine it was very stressful for me and my husband but she was very accommodating and supportive. I felt at ease and less stressed because Bell was so prompt at emailing and messaging me back. When we met Bell, instantly I felt her warmth and her genuineness. She did really well at making our ceremony individualised to cater specifically to our small wedding by suggesting things that we had not thought of. She went above and beyond to make our wedding day extra special and for that I will always be grateful. You truly did make our day so much more special by being apart of it.
