03.01.2022 I can see as the excitement mounts over native food and having foraged with indigenous people that we need to safeguard this industry. Full care needs to be taken harvesting plants. The traditions of ensuring for example with blood root that bulbs are left for the plant to regrow need to be guaranteed or there wont be bloodroot to harvest in the future. The best way to do this is to buy through licensed aboriginal operators.
