24.01.2022 My husband and I make our Traditional Dark Fruit Cakes, (soaking the fruit in port for a rich, moist cake that is long keeping) all year round. Regular Dark Fruit Cakes $25 Gluten Free Fruit Cakes (also available) are $30.... Postage is $9.95 for one cake, or $16.50 for up to 3 cakes. Cakes are 9x5 We are from Griffith, NSW, 2 hours west of Wagga Wagga. Answers to FAQ's: They are nut free. They do contain eggs, dairy and mixed peel. The shelf life is 12 months. They can be frozen. To all the nut lovers...yes I can do cakes with the nuts in them. The traditional dark fruit cake with nuts will be $35. Nuts will include Brazil, Walnuts and Almonds.

16.01.2022 I feel like one of the elves in Santa's workshop lately, decorating these cakes. They look so lovely! The round cakes were a special run. They are 2kg cakes and we make them to order for $50 each. The rectangle shaped cakes are 1.5kg and decorated they are $40. We will have them available to sell online and in the shop from today. ... 14.01.2022 Its the marathon now till Christmas to make sure everyone gets their cakes. The flavour of the cakes develops as they mature, so the earlier you order the better. Our cakes have a 12 month shelf life, so they will keep well and improve between now and Christmas.

08.01.2022 Our Nutty Fruit Cake, is full of nuts. There's not just a few nuts sprinkled on top, there's loads of nuts for all the nut lovers. We use Almond, Brazil and Walnuts in our cakes, which we dry roast to enhance their natural flavour. 03.01.2022 Quinces are amazing. You take something so unattractive, hard like a rock, somewhat furry and you end up with a gorgeous ruby red jelly or jam. It’s like a bit kitchen magic. So for as long as we have quinces we have some Quince Jelly and a run of the Grape, Blackberry & Quince Jam. We send these as part of a pack 1 cake and 3 preserves. This helps to ensure they all arrive securely packaged together and in one piece

01.01.2022 Frequently Asked Questions about our Fruit Cakes. Can you send anywhere? We can send our cakes and preserves anywhere in Australia for a flat rate of $9.95 for one cake, or $16.50 for up to 3 cakes. Preserves are only sold online as part of a pack (your choice of 1 cake and 3 preserves), postage is $16.50.... Can you send Internationally? We can, however the cost at this stage is usually prohibitive. Happy to get a quote if you let us know where you would like them sent to. Does your cake have nuts? Only the Nutty Fruit cake does. The others are nut free. The Nutty Fruit cake has Walnuts, Brazil nuts and Almonds. Does your cake have alcohol in it? The fruit is soaked in Port, which gives it a lovely flavour and assists with the longevity of the cake. No alcohol is remaining in the cake once it is cooked. How long will the cake keep for? Our fruit cakes have a 12 month shelf life. Does it need to be kept in the fridge? No. Once you open it, it will keep well wrapped for 4 weeks. We keep ours double wrapped (wrapped in cling wrap and in a container on the bench). Some of our far North Queensland customers prefer to keep theirs in the fridge due to the high humidity and risk of ants. Can the cake be frozen? Yes. Do you only make cakes at Christmas time? No we cook all year round. Can you make me a special cake? Happy to discuss special requirements. When is the best time to order my Christmas Cake? The flavour of the cake continues to develop as it sits for a while. We recommend ordering for Christmas in August/September. When do Christmas online orders cut off?
