21.01.2022 We all know the lyrics "What about me? It isn't fair" Are you a people pleaser? Doing things to keep others happy or to avoid conflict? Do you 'do the right thi...ng'? Do you start getting annoyed, angry resentful that you always give or others always take? No one appreciates what you do? How about changing the way you say 'what about me?' Take a moment and start asking youself these questions, how do I actually feel about this? Is this something I want to do? 'Doing the right thing' by who? What need do I want filled by doing this (ie gratitude, appreciation or worthiness)? What is my expected outcome by doing what others want? We know you have a good heart and want to help everyone be happier. Remember that you too are a part of that 'everyone'. There is more joy when giving because you want to rather than giving because you have to or because it's 'the right thing to do'.

20.01.2022 I hear a lot of people say "I can't believe im back hear again?" Or "I thought I'd moved passed this" ... I used to beat myself up like this when things seemed... to go backwards untill I realised that growing is not linear. The art of healing is about returning to center. Just like a meditation practice, when we notice ourselves off course we lovingly bring ourselves back. As we become practiced at this we realise its the self judgment that causes the suffering and that if we can cultivate compassion for ourselves and do the next loving thing we are right where we belong in this very moment Then we realise all that hard work we put in has made a difference. Patterns repeat in life so we can learn and grow. Being spiritual does not mean our lives are perfect. So ask yourself .. am I judging myself about anything in my life right now?.... how do I return to centre? What is the next loving thing ? What have I learnt from this experience? See more
