12.01.2022 Happy 1st December Only 24 days till Christmas and I’m nearly booked up! Thankyou all so much. I still have some great gifts in salon and gift vouchers will be available until I close on the 19th. ... Here is today’s ~Tip Tuesday~ these would make gorgeous stocking fillers. You could decorate the tins and pop a ribbon and tag in them and voila! This is the basic recipe and then there’s some suggestions at the end for blends and uses Essential Oil Basic Balm Recipe This recipe can be used as aftersun soother or any other balm or ointment you would like to create.... All you need to change up is the essential oils you add! Here’s the basic recipe: 25g beeswax 3-5 tbsp Shea butter 30-50 drops of essential oils in total Method Melt the beeswax and Shea butter in a double boiler Allow to cool a little and then add desired oils essential oils. Pour into airtight glass jars * Note you could make up different balms if you pour into jars and then add different desires oils to each jar. IMPORTANT if you go individual jars for different uses please MEASURE the carriers using 6 drops of essential Oil per 10mls carrier( beeswax n Shea butter mix) Some suggestions: Balance & Elevation or Adaptiv for a Zen blend Lavender peace & Frankincense for calm & grounding Citrus bliss & peppermint for invigorating and motivation Easy Air chest rub Tea Tree and Lavender for Ouchie balm

09.01.2022 ~Monday Mindset~ After a week of sulking these are my thoughts this morning.... Be grateful for our families health and well-being, and create a space that we can endure this time apart, make do with phone calls and zoom and find joy in those special moments, while all the time looking forward to our reunion.... at least thats my head talking just need to let my heart catch up right! We all face things that can crush us for a bit but what I realised is that as we rise again, we can allow the experience to strengthen us, increase our empathy and compassion and help others with our new found abilities.
