24.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who joined us on Saturday. It was a beautiful warm day with lots of action. The local band Funkatu were excellent and a big thanks o Scotchman Fire Brigade for their wonderful assistance. We're looking forward to our 40th birthday celebrations on Saturday 19 December where there's lots of mixed entertainment throughout the day. Hope you can join us. If your want to book a casual site, please get in early. ... Thanks and have a great month !

18.01.2022 Bellingen Community Markets returns Saturday 19 September with a marvelous "MASK PARADE" along with our deliciously diverse variety of stalls, food, drinks, coffee and entertainment. BYO your own covid safe, creative, colourful and fun mask for a chance to win; $100 1st and $50 each for 2nd and 3rd prize. Register your interest at the "Market Info Hub" before 11am on market morning and be ready to distance parade on the footy oval from 12pm. 17.01.2022 Volunteers needed for our next Bello Markets Saturday 15 August. We really need more help to ensure a safer, less crowded market. More crew are needed on the ground to encourage and direct people to walk the right way, keep 1.5 distance and not to gather. Gloves, mask, sanitiser, morning tea and good company supplied. We want our market to go ahead but can't do it without you! Interested? If so we would love to hear from you. Please send a msg or email soon. thanks

12.01.2022 Bellingen Markets is coming up on Saturday 21 November. This month the local growers from the Bello Growers Market will be joining us over on the east side of our market (via Ford St gate). Local energetic band Funkatu hit the stage from 10am and Scotchman Fire Brigade will be on the gates welcoming everyone and raising needed funds for their activities. (see webpage for more details).... Reya is back with our dog minding service, found on east side, near Ford St under shade of trees. Its going to be a fantastic day of trade, music, delicious food and good times. Hope you can join us. 07.01.2022 The BSRA committee and organisers of BCM have worked tirelessly over the last few months towards providing a Covid safe environment for the market to continue as not just a marketplace but a great place to be We have reviewed current situations developing around the country, along with our capacity and responsibility towards the Bellingen Shire community and its many visitors.... As BCM can draw crowds of up to 5,000 people from a 500km radius, it is with regret we have decided to cancel the August 2020 market. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

07.01.2022 We're so excited to announce Bellingen Community Market's 40th Birthday on Saturday 19 December 2020. Everyone is welcome to join in as we celebrate 40 wonderful years community, culture and diversity. There's lots of very cool stuff happening..... see attached poster... Entertainment will be on the stage and oval. Please don't gather in front of stage (as we have limited room) and continue to move around park. The oval and skate ramp area is the best place to sit and hang with family and gather at a distance with friends We continue with our Covid Safe procedures, having one ways, sanitizing stations, 1.5m distancing and QR code registration, so please support. The market is filling quickly with casual stallholders and will be full soon, so if your a local and keen to attend best book asap. If your a permanent and need to cancel, please do so asap so others can take your place. Being only 5 days before Christmas its your last chance to buy that very cool gift for your loved ones while hearing and seeing some cool music and moves from the shire. Led by long time Bellingen local Louey Howell on the didgeridoo, lead vocals and drum kit, FUNKATU bring a vibrant and eclectic Fusion of funk, reggae, soul, ska, punk and hip hop to the dance floor. With hoping bass lines, smooth and funky rhythm to howling uninhibited lead guitar, their intention is to get you up and dancing while spreading awareness, good vibes and a message of one love.... This collective of musicians create completely original, very unique and soulful sounds that make you want to dance. When they are funkin its hard to stand still... Congratulations to our wonderful 'masquarade" winners. 1st was radical Rama with his leather mask, 2nd was young Edwin and 3rd was lovely Kelly.
