01.01.2022 Swimming Carnival Thank you to everyone who helped organise or participated in our fantastic carnival recently. What a fabulous way of showing off our great school to our parents, caregivers and other visitors. After the wonderful short welcomes by School Captains Tristan and Sophie it was down to racing by 9.15am. The troublesome pool pump held up for the day, the water was warm and inviting and the sea of colourful clothing and banners added to the competitive atmosphere ...all day. Best war cries seen in a long while! was a text sent in by one adult at the end of the day. Keep up that great work Sports Captains! We are proud of all those who joined in the competition, stayed safe and had fun. Wonga team won the day on 769 points leading Bunya on 725 points. The most eagerly anticipated races on the day were between Year 10s Connor and Harry with the Individual Medley, the very final race, determining who was the better swimmer on the day. Great tussle fellas!
