21.01.2022 Once again people power has sent the developers packing at Bells. The Winki Pop platform has been rejected by Environment Minister Lily D'Ambrosio MP and there is a little photo shoot tomorrow with Surf Coast Times for a celebratory story. If you’d like to be in it, meet at the Winki Pop carpark at 12 noon tomorrow / Monday.

03.01.2022 Stoked to hear the minister has axed the Winki platform. It defies belief the level of tone deafness from the Council that they would push this on the community the way they did.

01.01.2022 Well, Maurice did an awesome presentation to the panel on the Winki platform yesterday, seemed to really cut through. It’s shameful that Surf Coast Shire are still pushing for it even though the WSL did a massive backflip on Wednesday and said they don’t want it because the community don’t want it. They listened! Why won’t the Shire listen? Something smells. It is not needed, there is no risk and the cracks are not a safety issue! Roll on Council election and the forums that come with it!
