22.01.2022 The church is together again on Sunday, face to face in the Bellvista meeting place, and online wherever you are. It’s the last of our series on being a missional community: what are the marks of a missional community, and how can BELLS belong and serve better wherever we live?

20.01.2022 If you're tired of businesses plugging Christmas too soon - be part of a church that starts Advent a week early this year We're together again this Sunday at the Bellvista Meeting Place and everyone would value your gift of music, reading, praying, breaking the bread, clicking a power point or pointing a camera. Use the comments to let us know how you'd like to serve. Scott and Nikki Pulfer are bringing the Bible readings from Dirrianbandi. Anyone want to shadow Nathan on the webcast?
20.01.2022 Welcome along as our 'Mission Stories' series continues from the manse. Tonight's question: "Who are your people?"
19.01.2022 Come along for the ride! This Sunday we're Online at 5.30, here on this page. Following week we'll be together at the Bellvista Community Hall.
19.01.2022 Welcome to worship. Say, "Hello," or send a greating in the comments.
19.01.2022 Folks, since the earlier post about limiting numbers to thirty tomorrow, Ps. Phil has carefully read the Premier's statement and checked with other ministers. With our Covid Safe Plan in place we are OK to go ahead as originally planned: Venues with a COVID-safe plan, weddings and funerals with a COVID-safe plan are exempt. "Gyms, restaurants, cafes, bars ... they have COVID-safe plans in place," Ms Palaszczuk said. "This (the 30 limit) is where there is no COVID-safe plan and, for example, gatherings in your home or gatherings in public places such as parks." Please follow all the cautions and see the link in comments below to make your 'reservation'.
19.01.2022 This evening, at 7.00pm, Ps. Phil is the guest in 'Connecting Conversations' with Bundaberg Uniting Church's Rev. Stuart Bosch. Bundy is exploring the Lord's Prayer phrase, 'give us today our daily bread'. Here's the link for 7.00pm. (BTW always a great message 9.30am Sundays.) https://www.facebook.com/BCCUnitingChurch

17.01.2022 It’s BELLSTogether again this Sunday and the opportunity to contribute to the ‘Dignity Bags’ one of our youngest members is gathering for women faves by homelessness or domestic violence - what a great example!! 16.01.2022 WE'RE TOGETHER AGAIN! As we gather as best we can in the pandemic dynamic (sounds like a dance from the 70's) Unity College has made it possible for us to celebrate Holy Communion on fourth Sundays - this weekend - in the college auditorium. Below is the link to book in. We have to meet our Covid-Safe plan just like any coffee shop or pub. So jump online and let us know you're coming. We can BYO dinner to enjoy, but not to share or prepare. Tables for families and households,... and 1.5m separation for other relationships. See you 5.30 Sunday (and yes, the service will also stream out live, here.) https://app.tickets.org.au/BELLS/BELLSTogether
15.01.2022 BELLS@Home will be livestreaming from the Harding's lounge room at 5.30, so join us for Sunday Service again at 5.30 AEST today. "Love covers a multitude of sins".... when do we need to be covered, sheltered and protected from the impact of wrong doing and wrong living? (And what happens if we're left exposed to the damage?)
15.01.2022 For everyone’s information, we’ve hit a challenging week, and a season of new possibilities for BELLS’ faith community. After four years as guests at Unity College, BELLS’ Uniting Church services have been discontinued. Unity needs to restrict visitors into high traffic areas of the school. The school’s leadership has considered Covid Safe measures around the protection of students, having to look at all external use arrangements. We thank the school for its hospitality ...during the years since the Uniting Church established BELLS as an outreach into Caloundra West. Today we are again experiencing the truth that church is not a building or a timeslot. Please pray as we seek a new venue for worship together and develop a network of house churches. We have applied to the city council to rent the community meeting place, by the lake, to worship together on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.
15.01.2022 Being real - taking off our masks. I had been trying to write a message for Sunday during a sleepover with Miss I'mThree. I was trying to be Pastor Guy when who she needed was Pa. We made masks - and here is today's 'hold that thought reflection'. https://www.youtube.com/watch
15.01.2022 A good time of worship together last night - Rob Smith brought the gift of his water colour and here it is to share with you. Gotta love the spirit of generousity in helping us to explore faith in different ways.

11.01.2022 Good evening. We're working within the easing Covid space and part of that means deciding what time is best for both BELLS Online and BELLS Together. Here's the link to two-question survey. No matter whether your local or glocal, if you connect with us most weeks, we'd like your opinion. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/559SPQC
06.01.2022 Last Saturday several members from Caloundra Baptist Church and Bells Faith Community participated in the Blue Care Tales from the Heart volunteer training program. Tales from the Heart was written by Chaplain Natalie Roy as a resource to engage resident in reminiscing through conversation. While there are numerous benefited for residents in reminiscing one of the main aims is to help people connect positively with their life story and see meaning in their life. Volunteers le...arnt about the values and mission of Uniting Care, engaged with learnings about listening, personal values, self-care and working in an aged care environment. Our Spiritual & Pastoral Care practitioner Kate also attend to enhance her training skills. We greatly value pastoral care volunteers and we seek more than to support our Chaplains whose roles are more demanding with paperwork, support of staff and residents coming in with higher needs plus an increase in community work. 06.01.2022 "The longer I live, the more I realise the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company. The remarkable thing is that we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We... cannot change our past we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, that is our attitude. I’m convinced that life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it. And so it is with you we are in Charge of our Attitudes." Charles R. Swindoll

04.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS! In only one week, we are watching God provide for this church! The city council has accepted our booking to use the Lakeside Community Meeting Place in Bellvista, every 2nd and 4th Sunday evening. There's room for 50 and, with the park, children's playground, tennis court and BBQ right outside; scope for relaxing together. We asked to see more of God's hand at work - and here we are. Particular thanks to Naomi, Karyn and Peter as they continue to work through the Not For Profit status. And thank God for the person in our fellowship who, as soon as he heard about the school closing to us, donated $500 to cover rental in a new place he was sure would become available!
02.01.2022 Reflecting on a key verse from last night's passage: 2 Cor. 5: 16. "So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer." Here's a short 'Hold That Thought' asking how we regard people in social media.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiHfAAxynaU See more
02.01.2022 Remember to pray for The Church around the Sunshine Coast and our wider region.
