14.01.2022 2021 TEACHER ANNOUNCEMENT Miss Olivia Moffatt Originally from Sydney, Olivia started dancing from the age of 3. Whilst having a strong classical background, Olivia’s focus has always been jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop. Growing up in the Hills District, it was her local dance school that introduced Olivia to outstanding teachers and dancers who became an inspiration to her and inspired her to create a career in dance. ... Olivia completed her Royal Academy of Dance Advanced 1 examination with the renown Robyn Kirkland and successfully studied HSC dance in year 12. Since leaving school, Olivia was accepted to study full-time at the prestigious Sydney Performing Arts School, Brent Street where she was trained in all genres of dance. On graduation from Brent Street in the performing Arts Stream, Olivia toured to Los Angeles and New York, where she was able to take class and perform with industry professionals. After graduating from Brent Street, Olivia was part of a Performing Arts Agency which provided her with many opportunities. Olivia continues to take class in Professional dance establishments in Sydney and has also had the opportunity to travel to London to discover new dancers and artists. Olivia specialises in Jazz (theatre and commercial), Musical Theatre, Contemporary and Hip Hop. I feel all styles of dance are equally important and that no dancer can be only one thing as dance continues to evolve.
