25.01.2022 We are delighted to announce the appointment of our 2021 Senior Coaches. Both John Akham and Adam Saunders will again be taking the reigns for Sydney Shield and they are joined by Alan Astley who is taking on the A-Grade young guns. Some of the old boys might remember Alan who is rejoining us after 30 odd years in the wilderness (actually he was doing some cool stuff but we won’t talk about that). ... Come at us 2021..... we’re ready.

25.01.2022 You may have realised it’s raining. Given this, we’ve decided to CANCEL this afternoon/evenings Junior AND Senior games to ensure player safety. The good news is that its the perfect weather to have a snuggle with a loved one. Go on.....you know you want to.

18.01.2022 And in the blink of an eye......the season is over. Congratulations again to the under 11’s for finishing off our season in the best possible way (check out the below post). In an age where this game often gets a bad rap, this is what I see :-... - Countless volunteers who give up SO much of their time, week in, week out, - Our Senior playing groups selflessly dedicating hours to junior teams, - A select few who have served the game and our club for decades because they love it, - A board that has the passion and drive to make this club a ‘home’ for all, & - A genuine mateship and camaraderie like I’ve never witnessed before I’ve only been involved with the club for a fraction of the time of some of you, but it is an absolute privilege to be a part of something as extraordinary as the Belrose Eagles. 17.01.2022 It was a rough year for our under 14’s. Going from GF’ists every year for the last couple, to toughing out every week is a big ask. Regardless, they had a magical presentation today where there was lots of laughs, fun and camaraderie and what else would you do on a hot day..... play footy. Congratulations, Peter Asprey for making it through a presentation without shedding a tear. For anyone who knows Pete..... it’s a massive achievement and a big day.

13.01.2022 An Open Letter to the Belrose 2021 Under 16’s, The last couple of years have been tough. We get it. That’s footy and sometimes that’s life, but we’re here for you and we’ve been working tirelessly for the last couple of months with the Coaching staff and parents to find the right path forward.. With that in mind, we are delighted to introduce you to Charlie Buttrose who will be supporting the current Coaching team in 2021.. and the best bit.. Charlie was once one of you. ... Charlie has an outstanding football pedigree and played for the Roses for 18 years! He’s also had his fair share of rep honours having been selected to play NSW CIS Rugby League AND with the Manly Sea Eagles SG Ball and Holden Cup sides. FUN FACT - He has an obsession with cleaning his footy boots and you’ll never see him take the field in anything else. Welcome Back Charlie! This group of young men are outstanding humans and we just hope they realise how lucky they are to have you helping guide them on their footy journey.

04.01.2022 TEAM registrations NOW open Via Mysideline. Individual registrations will open Next Monday 28 September. Via Mysideline. MYSIDELINE... This year we are using a new team, player and competition registration system called MySideline (which comes about because of the relationship between the NRL and Touch Football Australia). Because we are using MySideline you need to have an NRL Account. If you or your child(ren) play Rugby League you should have an account. It would be advisable to login and check to make sure your account is active and you can remember your password. If you DO NOT have an NRL account please do yourself a favour and Sign Up to create one as soon as possible. This will make the registration process so much easier. https://profile.mysideline.com.au/register REGISTERING YOUR TEAM When registering your team it would be advisable to have: An individual NRL Account (as per above) A unique team name as your players will have to search on the team name in the MySideline system, it is advisable to go with something unique that will be found easily The details of a second contact for your team (whilst the system indicates that the 2nd contact is ‘optional’, please make sure you include another contact) Your credit card details Email addresses of all your team members so you can send them an individual player registration link for your team To register your team you will need to go to the Register Your Team page and type in Belrose where it asks ‘Find a place for your team to play’: This will then list all our competitions, please select the competition you want to enter in to ( ie- Under 8 Girls). Once you’re in the correct division and grade select ‘REGISTER’ You will then be asked to login with your NRL account or sign up if you don’t have a NRL accountLog In with your NRL account email address and password / Facebook / Google / Apple account OR select ‘SIGN UP’ if you don’t have an account Complete the fields on the Registration Details screen, including the secondary contact (even though this is not mandatory): Once the Registration Details are entered you be taken to the Payment screen where you can enter your credit card details to complete the registration process: Once you have registered your team in MySideline you can invite your players to register into the team. To do this send each player the ‘Team Finder’ link https://profile.mysideline.com.au/register/clubsearch and your unique team name. 02.01.2022 This weekend the NRL community will celebrate Harvey Norman Women In League Round, with the game paying tribute to the half a million + females involved across all aspects and levels of the sport. This year saw us ushering in a new era for Belrose with the club fielding our first Blues Tag team. Overall in 2020, there were record participation levels for women and we are incredibly proud of the role that we played. Same Game. Our Way.... Strength to strength.
