25.01.2022 All back to normal now with Christmas -Festivities over. Thank you to all of my students, here in Australia and overseas, for a remarkable 2015. You make teaching and planning events a pleasure. Your ever evolving confidence, creativity and performance excellence is a testament to your enthusiasm. There is excitement in the air with a beautiful concert in the planning for later this year or early 2017. ... And dont miss our relaxing afternoons with BELLY DANCE AND BAKLAVA that are held quarterly. This is your final notice about the class extraordinaire this Tuesday 6 - 8.30pm at the Belyssa Academy. -For the humble contribution of $20 you can roll those hips, shuffle your feet through Bedouin, Nubian , vaudeville, Brazilian, watusi belly dance - like moves and see those rolls roll in happiness and chuckle with every deep breath. 10.01.2022 Dear Dance Troupes, Wanted to share this message below after confirming with Yvonne in York ....... Here it is Once again thank you for your participation in our inaugural medieval fayre York 2014.... $5,000 was directed to the homeless via 5 organisations. Well done all! Our fayre for 2015 is Sunday 25th October and we hope your group will be happy to join us for the same great cause. We will again help with petrol costs. We will be on 2 separate venues this year- The medieval village along the river, entry opposite the town hall and our entertainment and market area once again in Peace Park, which will be unfenced and open to the public. We will have the PA van and dance floor there including the food vans as well! There is a parade planned at 2pm and your children can be accommodated on one of the floats/ trucks safely, if you choose. There is also a banquet at the town hall on the 24th of October with prices at $50 a head. We will be arranging the entertainment there, so there is another opportunity to possibly join in. 09.01.2022 May I say, from deep in my crystal encasaed cleavage, that it was an absolute joy to have you all here to day. Even the Sushi chef did his part with absolutely yummy trays of goodies, and the Jadrankas famous to-die-for Baklava. Thanks Anna, Marsha, Jodi, Janet and Margaret for performing. The ladies from U3A were thrilled, and my new friend Maria, at 88 yrs old, was so inspired, she could not resist having a go. I think you all made her day that more fabulous. Thankyou to my ever exotic studio as well for making us welcome and comfy. AND LETS DO IT ALL AGAIN ON DECEMBER 6TH 3PM !!!!

02.01.2022 Hi world, my FB cyber carer informs me that I have not been in touch with some of you for some time. Let me assure you that my dance heart and feet are busy as well as my inquisitive mind. Also my adventurous self has been to Sydney thrice recently with a lengthy sojourne to work on a European project coming up from mid July. So between pruning petunias, cleaning gutters and keeping the airlines financed, I do at times read or write. So fear not my laddies and ladies, My life is full. But if you invite me over for dinner or morning tea, I will be there with bells ringing. Here is wishing you all a great time whatever season or country are in. Big hugs all around. Belyssa
