Tony Misson also winning the paddle Victoria Volunteer of the year award along with Anna Taylor at Ballarat. This award is a reflection of a great committee, volunteers and members.

Please contact Tony ASAP to confirm interest. 0411605239 If you know anybody who may enjoy paddling, please share. Are you up for a challenge? Do you want to try new sport? What is the Canoeing Program? This program is a partnership with the Bendigo Academy of Sport and the Bendigo Canoe Club and is supported by Paddle Victoria. The program provides a positive healthy experience that includes regular on-water sessions focussing on white-water, pool sessions, ocean, flatwater, racing (marathon &sprint) and recreational paddling. All equipment is provided and includes 2 paddling, 1 weekly gym session plus camps and athlete education sessions. It’s outdoors, safe, learn new skills, building self-esteem and lifelong skills. National level coaches and instructors, who have assisted many to be part of Vic & Aust teams. All equipment supplied, including a racing kayak paddle & lifejacket for the duration of the program Focus on water safety in a fun & positive environment with pool sessions, white-water camps and beach trips. Athletes able to borrow gear for their personal use as well. You can strive to be your best in an individual sport whilst being involved in a wonderful team environment. The program is exceptional value and heavily subsidized to keep the costs down. Includes athlete education components plus a 2021 strength and conditioning program at La Trobe University, It will be a lot of fun! Athletes must be 12 years of age by 1/10/20 and under 18 years as of 31/12/20

11.01.2022 The lake is calm after a huge k4k/Active girls session. It was impressive to see the improvements just after 2 sessions. The club is so lucky to have Cynthia, ...Cass Murphy, Jorja Mandersloot , Baelea Collins , Garry Brannan Brigit , Bill to help these 4 squads. We have 8 x u14 girls which is fantastic plus some promising junior boys. We had over 24 aplicants and a lot of plan ing qld done to support the young paddlers. We are most definately hoping that some of these promising paddlers join our sucessful junior program. See more

Well over 40 juniors have started one of our junior programs, the active womens group is travelling well, the k1 group has started and the adult river trip this Sunday will be busy. NOW all paddlers are invited down to the lake this Saturday for our club paddle 3 pm start, you chose the distance 3, 4 or 5 laps.
