23.01.2022 Catching up on some videos that people have sent through privately to me over the last few weeks, these are all so much appreciated. Bengal Rescue is taking a much needed break for awhile with no more Adoption or Foster listings but will continue to share happy stories from time-to-time for uplifting positive energy :) Tia has come such a long way (from being found in a box alongside a highway & now accepting a young child in the home) - with Jess & Brett in VIC :)

21.01.2022 [WA] *A VERY DIFFICULT & URGENT* situation has arisen with one of our fosters. Scotchie is such a brave and courageous boy with only 3 legs but now his 1 remaining back leg which he needs to survive (he can't survive with 2 front legs only), is severely compromised by a tarsal (ankle) fracture. The circumstance is dire. *ANY DONATIONS* you can afford would be very much appreciated !!! We need your help to save this boy's life basically.. Infection from bed/pressure sores ha...ve been a constant battle and every effort is being made to assist him to toilet. Further X-rays and constant re-bandaging are needed to assess the ability of the leg to improve to the point where pins can be surgically inserted and then later removed when his bones eventually fuse and heal. 18.01.2022 Coco was originally from a breeder in Melbourne, adopted to Ocean Grove, moved to another location, surrendered to Geelong Animal Welfare society (with injuries sustained from being allowed to roam outdoors), received veterinary treatment to heal, transported by kind volunteer to a Foster Home in Melbourne, transported then to another Foster home in Phillip Island, then kindly transported again to her final forever home back to Melbourne - Many thanks to Amanda, Tahnee, Amy, ...Atholle, Ross, Michael, the "Pet Caddy", & finally her forever home with Kathy :) *Here are photos of the construction of her safe secure cat enclosure such that she never receives the injuries from being allowed to roam around again - excellent work - THANK YOU KATHY & FAMILY * :) :) :) X Original Listing (back in November last year) read as: Coco is a beautiful young 3 yr old Brown Rosetted Girl who adores playing with her family members, always by her humans' sides & who loves to sit on her humans' knees at night. It's a toffee - caramel colour with brown splotches and it's beautiful! As are my huge topaz eyes and my tiger stripes! But, and I must alert you, I DO NOT LIKE OTHER CATS. If I smell them in your house, I will prowl and yowl until I'm completely satisfied there are no cats there, even if you've had cats before. Once I'm satisfied about this, my yowling stops and instead I'll happily talk to you, follow you about and snuggle up on the couch with you at night. I love my pats and having my coat brushed, no problem. I'm beautifully toilet trained and I love water - another Bengal trait. I will lap up water from the shower recess and the bottom of the bath as well as my water bowls. Best of all, If you'd be so kind as to leave the cold water tap dripping just a little, that's where you'll find me too. I am a mature gentleman and don't do much playing and racing about. I like to snooze sedately during the day time hours and curl up in a basket or on a soft, fleecy blanket at night. I won't disturb you if I'm put in the laundry with my food and litter tray and will happily greet you next morning. I do hope I find my forever home soon. I am what they term an Exotic and need that special home to call my own. One thing I should disclose, I do have feline immunodeficiency virus. I just wanted to give you an update on Dante as today is his one year adoption anniversary. He is still happy and healthy.
