In Chicago on the weekend, Bengar received a Gold Plaque at the Chicago International Film Festival for 'Beyond Rare', a branded film for Argyle Pink Diamonds and The Australian Ballet.... Each year Argyle offers international buyers the opportunity to tender and bid for the rarest red diamonds. The Beyond Rare film was to set the tone for the tender event at the Sydney Opera House. The aim was to create a sense of the divine, timelessness and natural wonder. In one single and unbroken shot we followed principal dancer Dimity Azoury from the darkness of backstage to being illuminated in beautiful motion -- she is Beyond Rare. With choreography by The Australian Ballet artistic director David McCallister and directed by Ben Gartland we filmed the entire piece in a single shot for over two minutes with steadicam legend Harry P.
