20.01.2022 The carriages may be empty, but our volunteers continue to work behind the sides to ensure our railway will be ready for our reopening later this year. Did you know - As part of the maintenance of the railway, our volunteers run work trains to stop white ants eating the sleepers! The vibrations make the tracks not so comfortable for their next meal.

15.01.2022 Last week we achieved a major milestone for NG15 123 Fremantle, when its boiler was sent off site for major repairs. A huge congratulations to the Locomotive Department and hope to have the fully operational boiler back soon!

15.01.2022 The little engine seen at 0.34sec is quite possibly our little Ruston Diesel engine, that recently made a rare appearance hauling trains on our most recent Ashley Day. After the completion of the Narrows Bridge it was sold to Bunnings Bros and worked at their Manjimup Mill. Most of its working days at the BBR are spent shunting and running works trains.

13.01.2022 *Service Announcement* Weekend train services will resume from Saturday 20th June. Services will be operating Bushland Loop services only from 11am-4pm Saturday and Sundays. Midweek services will resume on Monday 6th July to coincide with school holidays. Services will be operating Bushland Loop services only from 11am-3pm. ...
