25.01.2022 Originally Christine jane fitness started with Ben's Army as a member and over her time as a member I gor to see her train and she always impressed me with her dedication and attitude, I knew her back story of being overweight in her past and her efforts to get healthier. Then I found out she was studying to become a trainer and she wasn't even sure she wanted to become a PT but I could see so much promise in her being a coach through her genuine and caring nature and the co...nnection she would be able to make with who she would coach, Christine did end up joining as a coach and the end is history, Everyone she coaches absolutely loves her, Christine has been a great role model and continues to spread a great message. Thats my blab for tonight, just wanted to show I'm very proud of what Christine has done and become as a coach. Here is Christine's post from today What is average? All my life i was jealous of all the "average" looking girls. From the age of 7 i knew i was bigger than everyone. Always hating myself for not looking like everyone else. Even at the start of my weightloss journey, all i ever wanted to do is be of an average size. But what the hell is average.... Its not a clothing size Its not how much i lift . 23.01.2022 Very proud to say Melissa Jane has been still sticking to her normal schedule with her exercise doing her weekly PT session online and daily walks with her doggy, were all just doing what we can to get to the other side for when we can reopen its not easy at all but we can't quit now

23.01.2022 Last night Jacob and Ben took Oscar through his 1rm testing before holidays. These are some big numbers as he is only 15 years olds!!! We will still be operating 24/7 THIS BOOKING IS ADDITIONAL TO YOUR PERSONAL TRAINING BOOKING OR BOOTCAMP BOOKING, YOU NEED TO MAKE A PT BOOKING AND GYM ACCESS BOOKING. I KNOW ITS A PAIN ... Off Peak bookings are up to 2 Hours in Allocated time slot Peak Hour bookings are up to 1 Hour in Allocated time slot You can only book 5 days in advance for Gym Vists Everyone will need to log in to our membership software and make a booking in our calendar, On our web site I have made a STEP BY STEP guide on how to log in. 21.01.2022 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL MEMBERS Great News today with Ballarat set to come out of lock down. With the current Covid restrictions we will be operating with a 10 PERSON CAPACITY.... I have prepared a online booking system for everyone to book in your visits to the gym. All time slots are 30 minutes long, you are able to book 2x30 minute time slots back to back. This is to try and limit people missing out and limit over lapping visits that would break the capacity restrictions. I will evaluate how the system is working and make tweaks as needed constantly. Even if you have a PT booking, you will also need to make a Gym Access booking. You will need to download the Gymmaster Application and login to make a booking. 21.01.2022 Face Mask Rules: With our rules and exemptions listed below we are trying to set rules and exemptions that are easy to follow with no loopholes and easy to manage. Please be patient as this is a first for us all and we are only doing our best for us all.... Masks are to be warn at all times with limited exceptions which are listed below. Any activity not listed in the exemptions is required to wear a mask at all times. (1) You are not required to wear a mask when using a stationary cardio machines at a strenuous intensity (Above walking intensity) (2) During instructed Bootcamp classes or Instructed Bootcamp Personal Training Sessions, During these Bootcamp Classes and Bootcamp Personal Training Sessions the Bootcamp area will be restricted to only those being instructed. Those participating in the activities that are exempt to wearing a mask, you are required to wear a mask up until your activity starts and once again required to put your mask back on immediately when activity ceases. There is to be No movement out side of the bootcamp area with out a mask for example If you are in a Bootcamp class and need to attend the bathroom you are required to put on a mask before exiting the Bootcamp area. I don't want to set to many exemptions to the mask wearing rules as I feel they would actually breaking the directive from DHHS and policing it will honestly be a nightmare, when I spoke to DHHS it was pretty clear on what our rules were to be. Yes wearing masks will impact our exercise and training, we will all need to lower our intensity levels, supersetting and leg training will be harder but I would much prefer to wear a mask than be closed at least we are still able to attend a gym, I have many friends in Melbourne that own gyms which don't have this option. We all just need to remember this isn't a rule we made up it is a State Government Directive that we all need to follow.

In the last 24 hours the world has changed again we go back to stage 3 lockdown and gyms are set to close on Wednesday night. What this means to me, i lose my one outlet, i lose my small business for a couple weeks, but life can be shit and i just need to do my part and press on. I have been in contact with DHHS and got clarification on the new rules in a gym setting.... 04.01.2022 Post from our Trainer Jarli The good morning exerices Often this exercise is put into the iron graveyard to never be seen again because of its potential dangerous loading when the movement is performed in correctly. However it is probably the single greatest exercise for reducing lower back pain and strengthing the the spinal eroctors in the back, glutes and hamstrings. The movement requires much greater leverage at the hips compared to the Sqaut, making it similar to a Rom...anian Deadlift. My advice however is to keep the weight very light and perform it in the higher rep rang of 15 to 20 reps. Remember to keep the core tight and push the bum out with slight knee bend, then use glutes and hamstrings to push the bar back up into the top part of a Sqaut position, thinking of bringing the back up. Be careful when performing this exercise and take your time, slow, it's underrated and needs to be done more often with perfect technique. See more

03.01.2022 At the start of stage 3 closure we set some decent goals for lauren to ensure we dont go backwards in our progress during the closure. Daily targets of 15,000 steps a day, its actually taking alot of effort as where Lauren works is currently closed. With out online PT we set up different equipment to target the areas that suffered the most during first lock down and so far we are kicking goals and making progress still. She has made zero excuses and im extremely proud of her efforts and dedication

03.01.2022 Here is comes again, where we have to say goodbye for lets hope just 6 weeks, we have been extremely thankful for our last 7 weeks of opening, it has really shown the best in alot of people with the help and support it takes to run a small business. We honestly wouldn't get through these closures with out a huge amount of help from our members, over the last weeks we have had many messages of "thank you" from alot of our members but its them is the reason we are open!
