There's something about the subtle sweetness of those delicious Tigernut flakes. 25.01.2022 Whoa Hoo!.. Look who's back.. .. . Novia! oh and Craig as well.... It's great to have him back. . Team awesome did a great job helping me here while he was away to keep on top of things and run the resort. A massive thank you to Katrina for stepping in and holding the fort when and where needed. I couldn't have done it without her. on so many levels.. Also Mikiki, Paul for doing all the manly things we pretended we couldn't do.. . And a big thank you to our sons girlfriend Val for stepping in as gardener (she's a mean site on the Toro and very meticulous with the whipper snipper!) and assistant/model for a lot of my pics..

18.01.2022 I love making veggie fritters for some reason. I think it's therapeutic actually. Grating the veg and making the mix then cooking them slowly in the fry pan with a nice warm cuppa.. I made these with Tigernut flour and they are #yum Carrot, Corn & Cauliflower Fritters.. #glutenfree #sugarfree #delicious and nice alternative to sweet treats. . 16.01.2022 Do you always have a jar of chutney in your fridge?.. I do! I also had a wheelbarrow and laundry cupboard full of Kent Pumpkins. So, I made Pumpkin Chutney. I posted the recipe to the Karenluvslife website if you're interested. Don't be fooled into thinking it's a drawn out complicated procedure. These are the same as the Tigernut Flake White Chocolate Pineapple Donut Tarts but the donut base is a little bit different. It's smoother, actually a bit like shortbread. I thought this one a little more delicate to eat. Not in the sense that it fell apart but just a must smoother crunch.
