18.01.2022 Longmuir & Woolnough Clubs: 2018 -2019 Season: Dear Clubs, Over the past month the SECA Executive have held meetings in relation to the composition of the Longm...uir Shield and Woolnough Shield teams for 2019/2020 season. All Clubs’ submissions have been evaluated by the Executive, subsequently after much discussion we have decided the teams to compete in Longmuir & Woolnough for the upcoming new 8 team Grades are as follows. 06.01.2022 Vale Des Falconer We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Des Falconer on Sat 6th Apr at 9.15pm. Des had been ill for some time, but never lost that humour that made him not only an icon of ANA but also all of SECA.... He was such an important part of the club over 30 years. His loyalaty and dedication as a player, committee member and more importantly his continual work with our juniors over many years saw him awarded Cricket Victoria's "Kookaburra Volunteer Recognition Award". But his greatest achievement was when he was presented with Life Membership at BANACC in 2018. Our thoughts and prayers are with Trish and all his family and friends. Rest in Peace Dessie. 05.01.2022 Congratulations now go to Rebecca Heenan for her selection in the Victorian Indoor Cricket 21 & Under Ladies State Team which will contest the National Titles in Casey Fields later this year. Well done Rebecca a great effort after being out of the sport for a few years.

04.01.2022 We have been advised that members associated with Des' local cricket club in Maryborough have been encouraged to wear the club polo to Des’ funeral tomorrow. It has been suggested that any ANA members attending the funeral might like to do the same. Up to each individual but would be good to have the club represented in this way by wearing the club polo or T20 shirt.

04.01.2022 Congratulations to our U16As on becoming the 2018-19 Premiers. Well done to everyone involved with the team throughout the year. Also a special mention to our 3rd XI, U14s and the All Girls Cricket Competition 17 & Under in making to the GF but just falling short.... Go the Natives

03.01.2022 Congratulations to all the Junior Blasters who participated in the Bentleigh ANA/Moorabbin Cricket Club Junior Blaster program this season. The children all had fun and developed their cricket skills along the way. Special thanks to all the parents for their assistance and support throughout the season.... Also, a big thank you to Rebecca Heenan and Anthony Gill on facilitating the program as Co-ordinators. We look forward to seeing everyone again in season 2019/20!
