20.01.2022 We're bred tough (or stoopid) at Bentleigh. Lots of shivering and bewilderment as to what we were doing, but plenty of Bentleigh smiles and laughs anyway. This squall brought temperatures down to 7 degrees and a good cover of hail!

14.01.2022 Saturday 11 Jan was the annual Century 21 Tournament for our Club and we used the opportunity to raise funds for bushfire relief in our State of Victoria. We had almost 170 bowlers in attendance along with our own volunteers for the day and also a few willing spectators! Together, we raised almost $1850 for the Bushfire Relief effort.... Thank you to all involved in this effort! Our major sponsor - Harold Laver and the Century 21 on Centre Team will be generously matching the raffle proceeds from the day for Bushfire Relief - thank you Harold and team!!! 13.01.2022 A bit of maintenance on #2 green today. This machine has 4 main functions: 1. Suck up the sand and any plant or foreign particles 2. Brush up the pile 3. Filter out the sand to get rid of the rubbish 4. Spit the sand back out and give it a brush to make it all even... Pretty nifty :)

08.01.2022 We ALMOST have enough people to charter a bus to the Kellybrook Cider Festival on 6th May. We need 26 people, and at last count we're at 19. If we get 26 people, the bus will still only be half full. The more we get after 26, the lower the cost to all of us. We can add more to the list later, but we MUST get to 26 by this weekend to go ahead. So get your name on the booking sheet at the Club before this weekend is over. The festival features quality Yarra Valley ciders, table... wines, handcrafted beers and live bands.
