21.01.2022 It’s been 4 years since our Men’s Senior Football and Reserve sides made the 2016 Grand Final The 2016 season was a landmark year for the club with both firsts and reserves teams reaching the Division 1 Grand Finals. The reserves had a resounding win in their play-off against Dingley, but the seniors were overwhelmed by a perennially strong Dingley combination. Nevertheless, it was the first time a Bentleigh side had reached a Division 1 SFL Grand Final.

05.01.2022 Vale Alan Jenkin . It is with very hearts that the BFNC and Dragon Club mourns the loss of Past player, Sponsor, and inaugural Dragon Club Coterie Group member Alan Jenkin. Alan was a lifelong , proud and passionate Bentleigh man and the Arthur st oval was his spiritual home.... Alan grew up playing junior football in Bentleigh , had a brief stint at Melbourne in his later teens and returned to play senior footy for Bentleigh in the Federal League in the 70’s . Alan was a highly regarded tough half back during one of the toughest periods in one of the toughest leagues there has been in football. Alan remained loyal and his love for the BFNC never diminished , loving nothing more than to come down and enjoy a pie and beer on a Saturday afternoon at Arthur St. Alan is survived by his wife Theodora , son Mark and three daughters Peta , Eve and Veronica and their extended families to whom we extend our deepest sympathy and support. Alan was a charismatic , classic character who will be missed very much by many . God bless your heart matie . RIP now. Chairman of the Dragon Club Coterie Group.
