23.01.2022 Congratulations to our two newest life members - Greg and Celeste Huckstadt Shaw. Two of the hardest working and long serving club people any organisation could hope for. Well done guys!!

23.01.2022 IMPORTANT Please be advised, due to many varying circumstances the Management Committee of the Newcastle District Cricket Association (NDCA), has resolved ...to delay the start of the season until Saturday 24th October 2020 for the following competitions: Suburban Districts 3rd grade 4th grade Development League Circumstances such as; later winter sports season, curation and access to grounds are some of the reasons which have brought us to this decision. We are thankful to clubs for their efforts to get 1st and 2nd grade underway this weekend just completed and we hope this decision to delay other competitions by one (1) week will take some pressure off curators, players and club selectors. Thank you everyone for their patience and support so far this season.

22.01.2022 GROUNDS CONFIRMED At yesterday’s season launch we were happy to announce the confirmation of all grounds from council. We thank City of Newcastle for their... support of our new competition and following suit of Lake Macquarie City Council and Port Stephens Council in allocating the grounds required for our Suburban Districts to get underway. This has been a lengthy process and we appreciate the time and effort gone into the decision and CN has provided excellent feedback and support for the long term viability of cricket in the region. We also thank the local Cricket NSW staff for their efforts during this time, Neil McDonald, Francis Walsh and Tim Cox have been available every hour of every day to support the best decisions for cricket. Competition draws for Suburban Districts and Development League are now well underway and we will be able to release these early next week. Thank you to everyone for their patience.

20.01.2022 After lots and lots of consultation, messages and emails this will be our new gear for season 20/21. For those that are registering for this season (registrations due by 16th September) you will need to advise your sizing ASAP. You can do this via your team captain or by emailing myself at [email protected] I have included the sizing chart to help you (Fullforce Clothing) and also the old (current) sizing for last seasons shirts, please check both as the sizings are ve...ry different. We are excited for our new season with Suburban Districts.

07.01.2022 Congratulations to the Lake Macquarie U13 girls rep team who pulled off a 1 wicket victory over Newcastle in an absolute thriller in the Greater Hunter Grand Fi...nal yesterday. The girls played with passion, talent and pride. Both teams exhibited beautiful sportsmanship, recognising each others’ efforts. Well done to the 7 VECC girls in the Lake Mac squad (Alex C, Heidi H, Isabella B, Layla S, Molly D, Sophie B and Zara V) and everyone involved! This representative team of players under 25 will part...icipate in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cup against the Sydney Thunder during the rescheduled NAIDOC week celebrations on November 12 and 13 at Raby Sports Complex, Campbelltown. The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander T20 Cup is more than a series of matches, it’s celebrating and acknowledging the first nations people and their cultures.
