25.01.2022 Another walk thru the vineyard. This is a double cordon vine, supposedly trained like this for better quality and yield from the vine.

23.01.2022 Introducing one of the best kept secrets in Australian wine, the 2015 Berrigan Sauvignon Blanc. This wine achieves a perfect balance between grassy herbaceous and tropical fruit and passionfruit flavours, providing an extra level of interest and complexity. Enjoy!

23.01.2022 Well the tree is up but the wine rack is now empty.... Time to restock before Xmas! Check out the new updates to our website - www.berriganwines.com.au

22.01.2022 Sun setting over the vines here in Mount Benson... I've had a great time learning the ins and outs of winemaking... (the simple version at least) Our next vintage is so exciting.... Book your next complimentary tasting... I'll give you the low down :)

19.01.2022 Hard at work at 6am....Pressing Pinot Gris!

18.01.2022 Let's get the party started and the fridge stocked for New Year! Introducing the 2012 Berrigan Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir, the perfect way to start your evening! This sparkling has been made using the traditional method and with the grape varieties of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and the flavours to look out for include citrus, strawberry and freshly baked bread. The palate is quite dry (but not completely dry), and remains crisp and refreshing, while maintaining an air of approachability and sophistication.

14.01.2022 Merry Xmas possums! Edna loves her Berrigan Wines!

13.01.2022 First wine tasting for 2016!

12.01.2022 Great venue for tonight's wine tasting! Thanks for your hospitality Ger and Bert!

10.01.2022 Introducing the 2013 Berrigan Cabernet Sauvignon from the wine region of Mt Benson on the Limestone Coast of South Australia. This Cabernet is an example of how great Cabernet can be when grown in a cool climate region amongst limestone based soils. I love this wine because its complex and interesting with its blackberry, mint and vanilla oak flavour profile constantly developing in the glass, while the powdery tannins so typical of Cabernet Sauvignon give the wine a firmer structure and great length.

10.01.2022 Heading to the picturesque limestone coast in SA tomorrow for harvest. Can't wait to share news of our next vintage with you!

07.01.2022 A great outlook for tonight wine tasting with Berrigan Wines

06.01.2022 Enjoying the 2010 Mandoon Reserve Chardonnay - great drop!

05.01.2022 A 2015 Merlot? Yep, this 2015 Merlot is a great example of Merlot when its bright and fresh, and we made this wine to show you how beautiful this grape variety can be when its grown in a cool climate. Visit our website for the lowdown www.berriganwines.com.au

04.01.2022 Introducing the 2013 Berrigan Syrah from the coastal, cool climate wine regions of Robe & Mt Benson in South Australia. Winner of three medals, including gold at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show!! This Syrah is a great example of the unique wines being grown in Mt Benson & Robe and its quite unlike any other Syrah (Shiraz) in Australia. Flavours of violet, clove, and cracked pepper dominate, while fresh dark red fruits such as cherries and plums shimmer alongside the French and American oak from which the wine was matured for 16 months.

04.01.2022 Everyone must taste these wines! Sooo good, and pretty unique too!

04.01.2022 Now this is what I call I wine tasting... A personalised mat with the wines displayed... Impressive....

01.01.2022 Happy New Year from Berrigan Wines! May your wine glass be topped up all year long!
