17.01.2022 The Berri Medical Clinic is continuing to ensure we remain up to date with all advice and direction from the South Australian government so that we can not only keep our patients and staff safe, but continue to provide our community with accessible healthcare. So what are we doing for you? ** We are temporarily closing our online bookings and ask that all bookings are made by phoning the clinic so that we can better assist you to make a safe appointment.... **We are offering phone consults to all current patients. We will inform you at the time of booking if you are required to attend in person. Fees apply for non-concession card holders. ** We are temporarily unable to take new patient bookings. **We are postponing some non-essential appointments. **Our team are busy ringing all of our booked patients to advise them of any changes that affect their consult. ** Our team are working hard to ensure that your scripts and referrals reach their location. What can you do for us? ** Remember our staff are doing their very best for every patient while maintaining the directions set out by the government of South Australia. ** Ensure you are wearing your mask before you enter our clinic. If you are not wearing a mask you cannot enter. ** Remember that we are experience high volumes of faxing and or emailing at this time and turnaround times for sending or receiving documents may be extended. ** Scripts will be faxed to your pharmacy upon request. * For urgent scripts, you may collect it from our clinic as long as you are wearing a mask upon entry. * For non-urgent scripts, please allow 24 hours for the scripts to arrive at your chemist due to high faxing volumes. ** Please be respectful to our staff, they are here to help you during these trying days. 15.01.2022 ****Clinic Updates for Patients**** Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions in South Australia, the Berri Medical Clinic has implemented the following modified services: *Wearing your mask As of December 1st 2020, all persons attending a healthcare facility are required to wear a mask per directions from SA Health.... *Attending an appointment For health and safety reasons all patients must attend their appointment alone. Exceptions are for 1 parent or carer if required. Please contact the clinic by phone if you need clarification. *Bookings All bookings will be made via phone. Online bookings are currently closed. Please do not present to the front desk unless you have a pre-booked appointment on the day. *Follow up Appointments - If you have seen the doctor on the day we will ask you to phone the clinic back at a later time to make your next appointment. *Test results If you are phoning for test results please call between 3pm 4pm Monday to Friday. Be assured we will contact you directly regarding any urgent result if the situation arises. *Services via Phone We are providing telephone consults for patients across a range of services. Please feel free to phone the clinic to find out what we can offer. *Any patient with respiratory symptoms including cough, fever, sore throat or shortness of breath must call the clinic before presenting to the front desk. 03.01.2022 As of 1st December SA Health has deemed it mandatory for all people to wear a mask when attending healthcare sites including GP clinics. We ask that our patients observe this instruction from the SA government and wear your mask when attending our clinic. If you are not willing to wear a mask, we will be unable to allow you entry our clinic. ... You will need to be wearing your mask upon entry to the clinic as we are unable to provide masks to patients.
