15.01.2022 Now this is a great Christmas 'cake'. Ideal for our hot Christmas days. I think I will try this one. All the grandchildren will love it. Think I will still make my traditional Christmas pudding, which has been my contribution for many family Christmas lunches.

09.01.2022 Hi there. Haven't been of FB much lately. Very busy catching up after being away. It was fab to have a weekend at home last weekend. Today to go to Melbourne to speak at a Naturopathic Seminar tomorrow. Also this week, been doing a little extra looking after of some of my grandchildren. Here is a picture that my 6 year old grand-daughter drew at school. Love my smile and the red coat but I am looking a bit on the 'plump' side!! So cute.

Egg plant is a great food and is listed as one of the major foods that help to regulate cholesterol levels. OK, I know some of you will have watched Catalyst and may be thinking that cholesterol is not really a problem anyway. However, what I would say is that for some people elevated LDL cholesterol will be a problem especially when it is combined with other contributing factors such as hypertension, inflammation etc. For most chronic diseases it is never just one factor that causes the disease. A number of different factors are needed. Many chronic diseases are now being called moasic diseases for this reason. Enjoy your day.
